Dear NWR Members:
The Regional Directors of the Northwest and Southwest Regions are aware of concerns surrounding the disparate policies in the regions regarding the trophy placements in the recent years. This is very unfortunate and both Regional Directors believe that while, each region has the right to make their own policies, it is in the best interests of both regions to attempt harmonization of the policies regarding trophy placements. We each value the camaraderie we share during trials as we often compete together. We will be working with our respective Boards and regions with proposals to harmonize the policies to avoid future misunderstandings and inconsistencies.
If you have questions or input, we encourage you to directly contact your respective Regional Director. Ultimately, the choice will be up to our regions, but we are confident that working together we can find consensus.
