Help Little Bit the Squirrel Get the Surgery She Needs
We need your urgent help to cover the vet costs for a sweet, injured squirrel named Little Bit. I made her a gofund me.

Last year, Little Bit suffered a senseless act of cruelty when she was shot with a BB gun. While she survived, she's continued to struggle with eating. Recently, a veterinary exam revealed the tragic reason: her teeth had severely overgrown into a complete circle and were pressing into her sinus cavity, a condition known as malocclusion. This was making it nearly impossible for her to eat correctly. Here are pictures of her X-rays and the roof of her mouth after her teeth were cut.

During further diagnostic work, we made a shocking discovery: the BB from the gun is still lodged in her jaw. This foreign object is the suspected cause of her chronic eating problems, leading to the painful dental issues.

Little Bit's surgery to remove the BB is scheduled for tomorrow, Oct 1st, 2025, at 8:00 AM.

Our Immediate Financial Need:

• Today’s Exam, X-rays, and Incisor Trim: $309
We are facing a total of $621 in immediate, life-saving expenses.

Just wanted to give you a little update my plan is to try to trap little bit in the morning and take her to the vet. The wildlife vet will be available tomorrow. Little bit is the squirrel that was shot last year and she’s definitely having problems eating. I think her teeth need to be filed down. Please help her 🥰 Hey Friend, I don’t know if you guys remember little bit but she is the one that was shot last year. First, let me say thank you to lindsey for donating some revolution for her. I have noticed her having trouble eating and if you watch this video, you will see that she is not really eating with her teeth but more just licking her food and she will only eat soft food. I’m suspecting that her teeth are not lined up so she cannot grind them down going to have to trap her and take her to the vet, which I don’t have the money to take her to the vet at the moment so if anyone would like to help me raise the funds last time I took her to the vet. It was $200.

About a month ago, I noticed a Mama rat had moved into my release cage so I close the door so she could not get out. She made her home in the nesting box. I have been feeding and watering her . a couple of nights ago. I noticed the babies peeking out at me. They were so stinking cute . They looked old enough to find a new home. so today we released them into the wild. I will attach the video.
