Just a note. 🐾If you are going to verbally abuse my Mommy in an email because she couldnt respond to your email within 2 hours, and then you proceed to threaten to report our store to the NYS Attorney General because she didn't respond within two hours you will be BANNED FROM SHOPPING IN OUR STORE. 🚨🐾Friends, once again Puerto Rico has been struck by a devastating hurricane leaving many puppy dogs and kittys homeless. This organization works tirelessly to get these precious animals to safety and they need help.

When PR was hit several years ago, when we lived in FL, my Mommy and Papi hosted a full day of dance workshops, local instructors donated their time and talents and one of our amazing dancers rented a huge truck and drove all donations to a donation site where all of our donated items were sent to PR.

This time we are asking for help for the animals of PR. If you are able to donate to Wings of Rescue, even a few dollars, please do. If not, please share so we can help the animals that have been left behind as a result of hurricane Fiona. The donation link is in the original post from Wings of Rescue. Hurricane Fiona has struck bringing massive flooding to Puerto Rico (which is part of the United States) and we need your help. Wings of Rescue, in partnership with the The Sato Project will be responding, flying in humanitarian and veterinarian aid and flying out with pets who had been abandoned in shelters prior to the disaster. We will not move any pets who come into shelters until their families have had 30 days to be reunited with them. "CAUTION if you have a similar car seat. Twice our 6 pound Mazie has flown out of this carrier! Once the carrier flew back in the backseat area when we had to stop quickly. Another time when we had to stop for a deer she flew forward out of the carrier. The velcro straps do not stop the carrier from shifting backwards during a sudden stop and the leash is too long so it does not keep her in the carrier if you have to stop quickly. Luckily she was in a harness, not a collar, or her neck would have been injured.

We are modifying the carrier by adding two front to back straps and shortening the leash. But there needs to be an additional belt to hold her body in the carrier. I’m not sure how we can add that protection.

I was considering a backseat carrier but during each sudden stop I was in the passengers seat and was able to grab her quickly or she would have been injured.

If anyone has a better solution I am open. We are so lucky she is ok. I hope this helps others."
