Hey friends! I’d like to introduce myself & pupper. My names Sydney and this is my side kick, Rosco. We’ve been traveling to Chester multiple times a week to enjoy the dog park life. How great would it be to have one in our city?! Let’s make this happen

🤍 we’re taking toy donations such as tennis balls, frisbees, & tug of war toys to supply at the park at all times. As well as watering bowls & buckets to keep our pups refreshed! 🐾

Hey guys! This page is to bring the people & doggy friends in Colonial Heights, VA area together! We need a dog park desperately and the Rec center is willing to help out with supplying the land but we need a group to start it all. So here I am! My names Sydney Wheeler & I’m behind the page trying to get things started. Here are a few reasons a dog park in the city would be beneficial: 🐕‍🦺🦮🐩

•Your dog can exercise and socialize in a safe environment.
•You can meet other dog owners while you enjoy watching your dogs run and play.
•Apartment dwellers, elderly folks, and owners with disabilities have accessible places to exercise their dogs.
•Dog parks promote responsible pet ownership, public health, and safety and enforcement of dog control laws.
•Dog parks are park venues that cater to a large, legitimate constituency. They also provide a nice added feature to exisiting public parks, not unlike tennis courts or soccer fields.
•Dog parks offer economic benefits for your community.
