Sometimes we have to appreciate the small steps. Even if a horse doesn’t let me touch them, but will stand and relax next to me that’s still improvement. If today all I get is an ear I’ll take that and be thankful. This mare has had a very hard past, came to me the upmost defensive horse I’ve seen in a long time. I know it’s slow progress as I’m not in any hurry to push her past her limits. To me the first yawn next to me is one of the best days there is. Today she almost did it she even stood resting next to me for a solid 30 minutes they all just stood calmly around me, from that we all learn a little. Remember every time you’re with them they’re learning, with or without a halter on they’re learning.

Hi everyone, thank you for liking my page. I am not a none profit at this time, but might consider it in the future. I do take in horses when I can and often have friends that want to keep up with their updates. This page is to keep them all posted. I will do my best to update daily. I often have more than one project at a time, and sometimes babies on the way. This is Mama. Don’t know exactly when she’s due, but I do know she’s round 😆 she does have a pretty hard past and isn’t very trusting yet. She’s been with me for a couple months now, and has taken food from me and will follow me around some. She was very diffusive when she got here but we’ve slowly made progress. They’ll be baby pictures soon

This is Buddy. He came to me on November 3rd 2020. He’s 2yrs old. He has done well so far, had his feet trimmed and done good on his Refeed program. I’ll add small details to the picture, so you can scroll through and see his improvements so far
