Have my own SUV vehicle with seat belts for the dogs
Prefer all dogs have harnesses but have experience working with pronged collars on a case by case basis. I have a highlighter colored tote that is reflective in the snow and rain or if walking at night. I have an extra reflective collar for medium to large dogs. Dogs will most likely wear their jackets, that is if they prefer it. I have extra supplies just in case. Dogs must be licensed, chipped, vaccinated, and reproductively fixed for the safety of the pet outside their home. How I walk dogs: I walk dogs on a bungee cord when there is more than one. It is clipped around my waist tightly, and allows the dogs to be attached to me at all times. They are able to run in a circle around me without being attached to my arms directly, and I hold onto the bungee cord as we are walking and especially when they are running around me. Issues in the past of allowing them to chase one another resulted in leashes being pulled out of my hands and even pulling my arm tendons if the dog is large enough. They are thusly pulled by their own force as well. I love bungee leashes and own one. They are great for dogs that are always on the move and need a bit more force behind the leash to keep them from pulling me along, or accidentally ripping their lead out of my hand. List of places I walk dogs regularly:
Menotomy Rocks Park
McClennen Park
Summer Park
Magnolia Park
Spy Pond Park
Mount Gilboa Park
Hi there! My name is Michael and I am a Private Pet Nanny in Arlington, Massachusetts. Taking care of animals as we walk through the woods and fields. My favorite season to walk dogs in is fall, but I love winter as well. I have two cats: Lucy and Phuka. My passions are learning about language, philosophy and psychology, and making art. I am certified in pet sitting and have experience working with dogs with trauma backgrounds. Inspiration: Veterinarian James Harriot of Yorkshire, England.
