❤❤ S.O.S ❤❤ SAVE OUR SAUSAGES ❤❤ AGAIN!!!

Firstly a huge THANK YOU to each and everyone of you who have donated and/or set up standing orders or direct debits for us - it means the world to us and will enable us to do more than we are doing now for medical dogs...

And thats where our second request for help comes in.....In the last Month ALONE we have had 13 dogs with pre existing medical conditions surrendered to us. 8 of these dogs have currently or have had in the past IVDD.

A few years ago we set up our IVDD angels database but at the moment we have currently exhausted all of the options and lovely homes on there. In simple terms they are full up and we need more homes of people willing to Emergency Foster, Foster or Adopt dogs with medical issues.

You don't need any experience - just a willingness to learn and provide love and care for these dogs. Financially you wont be impacted by their condition as we will pay for all treatment required. You will be fully supported by our wonderful medical team.

🐾Emergency Foster - this is normally for 4-8 weeks and would mean swinging into action to go and collect a dog that needs urgent medical treatment at a vets or specialist, or they might need conservative care in your home.
🐾Foster to adopt - this is normally for a period of 4 weeks for a dog that is recovered or partially recovered from an illness and we are looking to get it straight into an adoptive home but perhaps havent had the time to organise meetings beforehand.
🐾Adoption - this would be straight into a forever home after a few meets with the current owner. These dogs are normally stable in their illnesses so everyone knows what to expect for the time being.

We have a variety of medical dogs that we are currently in desperate need of (hopefully) forever homes for including a little boy on wheels who's brother has taken a disliking to him and a tiny mini in emergency foster starting her IVDD conservative care journey.

Our gorgeous boy left for his furever family yesterday, we’ve had lots of messages and photos showing us how settled and happy he is which eases the sadness enormously.

What an absolute pleasure you have been Thumper, we cannot wait to see you next at one of our annual meet up’s already 🙈
