*Sweet Treats By Katie* is hosting an online bakesale to help raise funds!! All proceeds will go to help pay for vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, and vet care for the local stray cat colonies in the area! The auction will start Monday at 5:30pm and will last till Wednesday at 5:30pm!

Included in the auction is also a beautiful blanket made by BullyDog Bedding and a basket with goodies for your cats and kittens!!! Please help us get the word out!

Granfers progress update! This sweet boy come from Bearden.. no clue where or what happened to momma, but he couldn't stay where he was. And I'm glad I got him. He had a pretty nasty skin infection that was spreading rapidly! After a vet visit, some antibiotics, ointment, and drops.. he is making progress in the right direction! ❤ he's still got some healing to do, but already looks so much better!

SPAT/NEUTER TRANSPORT UPDATE

So there has been so big changes at our vet in Stuttgart. Dr. Carnahan has spayed/neutered over 300 furbabies for us over the past 2½ years! He has slowed down in his practice, but still opens for us once a month. With the changes going on, we will be doing CATS ONLY on our monthly trips. If we've spoken about spaying/neutering your dog, we will still be able to honor that. But we will not be scheduling any more dogs. We do plan on locating a low-cost option for dogs. But for now, our focus is on cats. Thanks for understanding! ❤

We were blessed to have their vaccinations taken care of for us, but
•We will need approximately 2 more bottles of wormer ($36).
•All babies and mommas will be spayed/neutered upon weaning and age ($1450)
•All babies and mommas will need to recive their rabies vaccination ($676).

In total, thats almost $2200!! Not to mention we only have 2 of them in foster homes, so the feed bill hasn't even hit hard yet! We have a few more fundraisers planned, but we're starting here!

Litter #2! Tiger Lilys babies are now 2 weeks, and starting to get around! 🥰 They've recieved their first dose of wormer. They will reciece 3 more doses and their first vaccination. They will be ready for their PURfect homes on June 1st, 2021. Bliss, Buttercup, and Blossom have half bob tails 😍

They will have a $75 rehoming fee that includes their a pre-paid spay in October and they're rabies vaccination! If you're interested in any of these babies pm me and I'd love to help you find what you're looking for in a kitty companion ❤

2 week update! 🥰 Darlin and babies are doing great! They recieved their first dose of wormer, and they absolutely hated it! De'Vil has done great, and Darlin adjusted really well with her!!

These babies would LOVE to have families waiting for them in 6 more weeks (5-30-21)!! They will receive 3 more doses of wormer, and their first vaccination! They will also come with a low-cost spay/neuter pre-booked appointment in September!!!

Rehoming fee: $75 (includes worming, vaccination, spay/neuter, and rabies vaccination!)

This beautiful girl is in need of a desperate place.. Shes currently in Smackover.. the neighbors have threatened this cat and the lady just can't keep her, and dosen't want her hurt.. I will help with spay/vaccinations to anyone interested in fostering/adoption her!

This beautiful girl is ready for a home of her own! Her brother hit the "Jack"Pot, now its her turn! Margo is a giver.. She will probably be the most laid back dog you meet. Shes not big on taking walks, but we're working on that.. Shes a home body, layed up on the couch getting cuddles and pets!!! She would LOVE a home with kids, shes super gentle and super sweet... She love to carry things in her mouth, dosent tear them up, its the cutest! She'll Cary her leash, a toy, a leaf, a blanket.. just anything to have something 🥰 Margo is spayed and UTD on all vaccinations, including rabies.. She is kennel broke, and house trained.. Their mom is a pit/shihtzu? Dad is unknown. So they should be small/medium dogs (maybe around 30 #) They are 2 weeks today, and recieved their first dose of wormer. They will receive 3 more wormings and will have their first vaccination (will discuss other 3 vaccinations).. They will have a Neuter/Rabies vaccination appointment set up in July and cost for that is included in the adoption fee! If you're interested in these cuties, message me! 😊

So many dogs have come into local pounds and shelters in just the last month that pounds and shelters are at max capacity!

We are trying to help, but we only have so many resources. To keep healthy, adoptable dogs from being euthanized for space at local pounds we sometimes have to board dogs until we have a foster home that is available.

Boarding is not cheap, but a dog should not have to be killed just because an irresponsible person decided they didn't want the responsibility anymore!

Our friend Nguyen Ngoc Han has offered to host another mask fundraiser to help us raise funds!

All proceeds will go to help pay our boarding costs.

We are a small foster-based rescue with no paid staff that works hard trying to help dogs out of shelters. Your support means so much to us ❤️❤️

Masks are $10 and you can order your mask by messaging us or you can pick up at Bamboo Cafe or Envy Nails in Camden. We will post when the masks are in and ready for pick-up!

Greatful to announce.. Carnahan Animal Hospital has successfully spay/neuter 134 dogs/cats for the year of 2020! Some of you might not think that a big number...

BUT...
CATS, Can have up to 5 litters a year, typically up to 12 kittens, and the kittens can get pregnant as early as 4 months.. meaning just ONE cat and her offspring can produce 60,000 cats in just one year...
DOGS, Can have up to 2 litters a year, on average at LEAST 7 pups.. the pups can become pregnant after 6 months.. meaning just ONE dog and her offspring can produce 11,166 pups in one year..

CRAZY right!? Now, imagine all of that, times the 134 that were spayed/neutered!! HUGE NUMBER! We can't thank Dr. Carnahan and his staff enough!! And I can't explain how greatful I am for the responsible owners and donators who have trusted us with their babies and don't the best possible this for them!!

Here's to another year of successful spay/neuter stories!!!

Scat-Cat and Luna (two of my save-a-lot babys) were adopted today, they went together to be mousers for some chickens 🥰 i love a happy ending!!! I wish you girls the absolute best, y'all came such and long way, and are deserving of the bestest life!❤ Congratulations girls!!!

Look at what just a little time and love can do 🥰 just two days ago he was trying to go through fence and walls to get away from me, spitting and hissing... today, he calmly walks off my lap to explore, and stayed right beside me ❤ Two-Face is such a different boy! 😊

On a side note, they're not related (that we know of) but don't they Wall•e amd Two-Face make such a beautiful Duo 😍

Got 3 feral babies yesterday! They're all between 6-8 months and scared to death.. Introducing Jynx, Two-Face, and Nugget.

Nugget is another one on McDonald's random kitten pop ups. I've seen her bolting quite a few times, but once really close and found her remote location. Within the hour I had her.

Jynx and Two-Face came from a small colony.. The lady started with one cat, that was never fixed, and just don't know how she ended up with so many 🙄.. well now she's moving and was just going to leave them behind... there's approx 7 adults, and 6 more kittens... Yesterday I only had intentions to go get the smaller kittens and look to see what we were up against on the older kitties but got these two in the trap so went ahead and got them out of there..

These babies will need sponsors to get spayed/neutered, its $55 for each of them for their surgery and rabies vaccination and we will also need her with TNR funds!

Loony-Luna approx 5 months old, sister to Tipsy and Scat-Cat. Luna is spayed and UTD on her vaccinations, including rabies!

I would LOVE her and her sister Scat-Cat to go together and they're really bonded.. they would make 2 lovely mousers, or even better barn cats! 🥰

She is another Save-A-Lot baby. She was caught about a week after Tipsy, and was so scared.. it took her DAYS to even think about coming around... but she slowly started to relize people weren't so bad, however she'd rather be with her sister.

This girl isn't gonna be your cuddle inside attention loving kitty.. she's probably going to have one family she trusts while avoiding everyone else. She will not make a good kids cat, as she would prefer to be left alone and come to you for pets instead of you going to her. Shes got good manners, shes just not a fan of people (but can you blame her?).

Wall•e is an (approx) 8 months old. He is Neutered and UTD on all Vaccinations, including rabies. He has a completely bobbed tail, find out why below.

He had a rough start.. When he was just (approx) 6 weeks old, he fell out of what we believe was the car motor at Walmart while the vehicle was getting an oil change. He had burns on his body, he was scraped up, and had a very injured (burnt) tail.. This nice lady found him and kept him safe till help could arrive! We know he needed to see a vet immediately.. after being examined, and getting wound care Doc said he looked better than everyone thought, but we would have to schedule an amputation for his tail.. And we did just that, at only (approx) 7 weeks old, Wall•e had his first surgery... It was a long road to recovery but at 12 weeks old, he got the all clear from the vet to find his PURfect family! 🥰

This guy is obviously a terrible picture taker, so I will include a video in the comments if Facebook let's me. Wall•e LOVES to play, this guy will need some toys and attention.. I can guarantee you won't have a dull moment with this dude around. Ever seen a cat do the alligator death roll? Well thats his favorite move, and he is very proud of it! He is great with Children, but I reccomend older children if any due to his energy.

*Tipsy Lou* is approx 5 months old. She has been spayed, and UTD on all vaccinations including rabies. She is a calico tabby 😍.

This girl was living behind Save-a-lot in the middle of town with a small colony of cats. We have slowly but surly TNR'd the adults and the 3 babies are tamed and ready for their PURfect home! Tipsy was the first kitty caught, and she came around almost instantly. She LOVES people.

She is the sweetest girl you'll ever meet, and we'll mannered.. She'll use the litter box wherever it is, and if she can't access it, she'll let you know. She is great with kids, as I have a 2 year old her totes her here and there and nieces/nephews and neighbor kids who play with her as well. (please teach you small children to respect them and show them the right way to tote and play). She just wants loves and cuddles all day long!
