Turned the page today and there was this handsome dude, Finnegan! He makes the perfect November pinup with those gorgeous eyes. 👀🍂. This means it's time to say "see-ya-later" to Mr. October, Rusty. I love having these special rescues hanging on the wall to remind me every day of all our success stories.....the calendar may be 'old school', but it helps raise needed donations for us to continue changing the lives of these precious dogs!

2023 'Hearts of Gold' Calendar:
It's that time again!
Our calendar sales help fund the medical needs of dogs who find their way to our rescue...it may be an 'old school' format, but it's a beautiful way to showcase many of our success stories.

Is your 'Golden Treasures' rescue ready to be a pinup pup? Does your fur friend have a special story to tell? Our scouts are in search of feature-worthy stars to grace the pages of our next calendar! Remember, there are only 12 spots available.

Submissions for the 2023 calendar are now open until August 27th, 2022.

Any GTR ALUMNI(including those who now reside at the Rainbow Bridge) that has not previously been a Pinup Pup, are eligible.

Quality criteria: For best results, we need photos at 300 dpi. Photos with the dimension of 2550 X 3300 pixels or larger will meet this criteria.
Please submit bright, in-focus pictures that do not pixelate when enlarged to 9” x 12”. (Cameras with less than 8 megapixels, older smartphone cameras, and digitally enhanced files, will generally NOT meet the quality criteria.)
The calendar committee will have final say in determining if the quality criteria has been met.

Please send your submission photos as a large file attachment to [email protected] ***Only photos received at this email will be considered.
Limit of 4 photos, which may include other pets or family members.

Every rescue has a story, so be sure to send your 'Happy Ending'--there is a 175 word limit.

If you are submitting professional photos, please include the photographer's information for copyright protection.
**Photos may be cropped or edited by the graphics editor, if necessary, for the purpose of featuring the dogs as opposed to their surroundings.
Photos that cannot be enlarged successfully may be used throughout the calendar.

2023 'Hearts of Gold' Calendar Submission is right around the corner!!!

Start searching through your pics for pinup worthy photos! I'll be starting the search for our calendar dogs on July 1st. Stay tuned for more submission information.

The guidelines are as follows:
Any GTR ALUMNI that has not been previously featured as a monthly pinup, including those at the Rainbow Bridge, are eligible.

It might be April 1st, but this is no joke!
It's time to turn the page on the 'Hearts of Gold' calendar and say hello to Buddie! He's reminding us that Spring is really just around the corner and our furry friends will be ready to help with all the outdoor chores(or just slow you down).
Thanks, Murphy, for helping us get through that crazy March!!! Every one of our pinups remind us of how much their lives changed once they were welcomed into our open arms! 💜💛🐾

It’s bringing a whole new dimension to our small business, helping us grow and stabilize it, which we know will result in improving our donations to the Golden Retriever foster and rescue organizations listed on our home page.

We also want to thank everyone on Facebook who is sharing our posts and to the admins who occasionally allow us to talk inside their groups about what we’re doing.

We promise we’ll always be the type of company that gives back hard to this community. In addition to supporting our group with quarterly financial donations, we also provide them with merchandise for raffles — among other types of assistance.

It’s those of you who buy the coffee, apparel, and dog treats who make this possible. So we want to say thanks right now, and continue to say thanks by adding great new products like our healthful treats, continue providing customer service that helps folks understand that we take no one granted, and continue contributing to the Golden Retriever rescue community, where we have met some of the nicest people we’ve ever known.

The people working on this company have had other businesses, clients, school, and career-related experiences… but I think all of us can safely say this is the most gratifying business we’ve ever run, because we all love dogs and we know that any small thing we do better allows us to do better for dogs.
