This is what happens when you breed a dog over and over to make money off of her and then accidentally let her breed with a dog too big for her to safely deliver puppies. This is Callie the Staffordshire Terrier Homeward Bound Animal Rescue took 3 years ago. The owners who made money off of her ovaries dumped her when they realized they would need to put money into her for a c-section. She was saved just in time.

Callie was spayed during the c-section. No more puppies ever again for her.

If you would like to get a dog, please research for reputable breeders. And please before buying, consider visiting a shelter or pound to adopt instead. Many dogs are waiting for their furever homes.

And please, please spay or neuter your pets to avoid unwanted litters.
