This beautiful girl is a zebra mantis, named for the black stripes that mark their wings. This is her fifth ootheca so far with two already hatched. Such a proud mama.

Its been a productive month. We have multiple species ootheca incubating and should be available within the month or two. There are also some species ready to go on our website www.Fatalmantis.com

We are currently breeding multiple species of mantis including: Ghost, Zebra, African Boxer, and Spiny flower.

The Orchid mantis and Dead leaf mantis are starting to produce ootheca now. With luck they will start hatching in a few weeks.

The Kenya flower Mantis and African Twig Mantis are starting to hatch and some will be available soon.

All live insects sold through Fatal Mantis are captive bred and meant to be kept as pets. Most species are exotic and cannot be released into the wild. Native mantis ootheca are periodically available for pest control or educational purposes.
