Good morning farm friends! It's a beautiful day at the farm and we've got lots of yummy produce for you! We currently have lettuce, arugula, bok choy, squash, onions and potatoes. We also have plenty of delicious culinary herbs to take your dinner to the next level!
It's also that time of year when a ton of our flowers are producing seeds. If you need seeds or starts for your garden please stop by and pick up some for FREE! We have so many flowers (and passion fruit vine) that if I don't harvest the seeds now I will be "weeding" plants out from the pathways next spring!!!
So stop by and get your free seeds now and save me some work next spring!!!

Hey farm friends! We wanted to take a moment and thank Jeff at Edward Joseph Farms for being such a great mentor to us over the last few years. Jeff has answered so many questions for us as we have grown and he's always been generous of his time and knowledge about running a farm in these Oklahoma conditions.
In an industry that can sometimes be very competitive he has always been welcoming to all the new farmers in the area. I think I can speak for most of the farms when I say "Thank you!!!"for all you bring to the community!!!
So if you're anywhere near his farm please stop by and help support a local farmer by picking up some of his wonderful produce!!

What a great opportunity!!!

We are excited to announce an internship opportunity at the conservation district!

Through a partnership with Conservation Legacy for their Stewards Individual Placements program, we will host a paid intern who will have the opportunity to work with the district and our various partners on the local, state, and federal levels to keep conservation efforts going through hands-on experience.

Hey farm friends! We're back open again and we have lots of yummy produce for you to choose from! The changes in the layout have given us double the growing space as last year so we're super excited about the future!!! Stop by and check out what we've done so far!
The tomatoes are coming along and the plants seem to have rebounded nicely but no ripe ones yet.
Today we have a nice assortment of peppers including our delicious shish*tos, potatoes and onions as well as arugula and bok choy.
We're open Tuesday thru Saturday 8am-1pm

Hey farm friends! Well as you can see from the photo, a deer breached the tomato patch and sadly, chaos ensued. The photo shows how the little dickens pulled off the netting and the additional videos we have watched, show how he strolls down the rows with nary a care, while enjoying quite a summer treat! Within a few hours all of our hard work had been consumed so you could say this was NOT our best day here on the farm.
This unfortunately has caused us to pause a bit during our usual tomato season. The plants themselves are slightly damaged but will come back and produce at least one more flush, so we will have plenty of tomatoes this season, just not for a few more weeks.
We wanted to make the best of this situation, so we have re-evaluated our fencing and farm outline and we have taken the opportunity to make some beautiful improvements to our farm footprint.
To begin with, we have removed all of the existing deer fencing and have expanded our native plant areas. With the help of Verdant Farms Oklahoma we have added over 30 new native varieties to our hedgerows and gardens! This will help us ensure we have plenty of habitat for all the pollinators in the area and keep plenty of the good bugs around for pest control.
A new enclosure for the tomatoes will be completed by spring and will almost double our garden footprint by the time we are ready to plant next year. This will allow us to grow even more of all the delicious produce you have come to enjoy! We are also beginning our fall planting schedule and are excited about all the new lettuce varieties Lucinda has found to add to our selection.
This might have set back some farms, but we see this obstacle as an opportunity to make some exciting changes to our farm. So, stay tuned for more updates, you won't be disappointed!
While we are working on these projects, we will still have plenty of the other delicious produce you love, including shish*to peppers, snacking bells, Bok choi and arugula but we will be modifying our hours for the next week.
