Writing this as a little heads up for clients. Close to the end of the month and November I have a lot of my own doctors appointment, so space will be limited. I will try to fit everyone in where I can through this time. So sorry for any inconvenience.

The Green Pawlour and The Body Shop at White Oaks mall will be participating in this weekend Pride parade. I have a few doggie bandanas and lots of body butter samples to give away, come for the fun and show us the love!

To all my loyal customers of the Green Pawlour some changes have been made recently. Pablo our beloved cat groom has moved to a different city. He will truly be missed by his clients and myself included. As some of you may not know I also work a second job, and trying very hard to balance work, grooming, and home life the best I can at this time. Please bear with me as I work through this transition. It may take me longer to be back to everyone, and appointments few and far in between given my second work schedule. Hours are between 10 am and 7pm I will always try to reply calls, text, and messages as fast as I can. Thank you for your understanding at this time.

Oh happy day!

🚨BREAKING: Ontario has introduced legislation to prohibit puppy mills as part of its animal protection measures!

The Preventing Unethical Puppy Sales or PUPS Act proposes strict regulations including record-keeping for dogs, minimum penalties for puppy mill operators starting at $10,000 and $25,000 if their conduct or omission of conduct results in the death or euthanasia of a dog (as determined by a vet as the most humane course of action), as well as other fines for specific breeding practices.

The bill aims to prevent inbreeding, limit breeding frequency, and prohibit the separation of puppies from mothers before eight weeks.

This legislation is part of ongoing efforts to enhance animal welfare in the province, with plans to consult on additional issues in the coming year.

Looking fur a good cause, look no further! The Green Pawlour will be accepting dog food and treat donations from clients through the month of December. We will then be dropping off the goodies to Santa paws at A Village Tail to be given out to different rescues.

Operation Santa Paws is held from December 1-24th every year.

The goal is to extend love and care to our furry friends and pets in shelters and rescue centers in every way we can 🐶♥️🎅 We are once again accepting donations in store of new and gently used pet accessories, jackets and food and will donate to various rescues in the city before Christmas.

I've done this a few times with my fur babies. It's a cheep and easy way to make cute Christmas decorations, for all you pet lovers.

This is a good keepsake but as with other ornaments use caution and keep out of reach of pets.
