Forbes Working Dog Auction is the Saturday 20th July. Demo’s start at 8am and Auction starts at 1pm. Auction will be live on Auctions Plus.

Ringers Sly - Lot 53 Forbes Working Dog Club and Auction Saturday 20th July 2024

Sire: Karana Little Joe (Sire: Karana Ned V x Karana Bell III)
Dam: Ringers Bandy (Aurora Boris x Karana Sue)

Ringers Sly is an 11 month old black/Tan WKC registered #69784 AAA14G dog. He is a friendly well natured pup that has been lightly started and showing good potential. He has a good bark and he is a big robust dog. He has a good stop and recall.
Both parents are good utility dogs with the dam having a cross of huntaway in her pedigree. His mother is an excellent paddock dog showing good cover and a bark on command in the paddock especially in the hills. She is an intelligent bitch who is capable of many tasks during lambing and fly season. She will also work the yards all day and has a forceful free bark.
The sire, Karana Little Joe is a great all rounder who is just as much at home in the yards as he is in the paddock. He has a good wide cast and good cover. Joe has performed well in a dog trail as a pup, he is a natural backer with a good bark on command.
Sly shows promise of having the traits of both his sire and dam.

Baringa Giddy is a 2 ½ year old Black/tan WKC registered dog. Giddy comes from excellent bloodlines and has been a pleasure to own. He is a quiet well mannered dog that has been used in both he yards and paddock. He is well trained on backing, stops and recall. He has a good cover and is an extremely tough dog. Giddy has a moderate eye on a few and a good drive on a mob. Giddy lacks a lot of bark but is improving. Giddy has been used for both mustering, yard, shed and feed up work. He will ride the bike or buggy and is very keen to work. A faithful dog that will be at your side all the time. Ready for work in the morning and still there at the end of day.

We still have a few pups left they are now 11 weeks old have had there 1st vaccination, are wormed, tattooed and will be WKC registered.
