The largest Chimp Testing & Vaccine Trial in US History is about to take place under the direction of & under the partnershipwith ….. This is a direct violation of the Endangered Species Act and the Chimps Act…. Violating Federal Protections….. all@for the sake of $$$$$ and Big Pharma! These sanctuaries often use conservation language and emotional pulls to grab these animals….. only to return them to research, testing, abuse and potential risk of death….. HELP US SHARE…. Don’t just Pray, Act NOW and help Haiti!

After today’s M7.2 Earthquake in the Southern Peninsula there is unbelievable destruction, need, emergency and more.

Our team from is working with incoming doctors, aid resources and more!

We are helping to free folks trapped under the rubble, which is the very story of our founder during the 2010 Earthquake.

We are going to work with over 200 hands on volunteers from Port Au Prince to mobilize medical supplies, medical care, triage, housing, hygiene and nutrition ASAP. The need is HUGE!!!!!

Over 90% of homes in Les Cayes and the surrounding areas have been destroyed or rendered in safe. Hundreds are trapped, more injured and lots are displaced. These photos were sent to us today from our friends on the ground.

The urgency is amplified with the incoming Tropical Storm Grace.

Yes Pray…. But PLEASE give! Prayer is good, good vibes is great…. But action is best!

SPARTN has been chosen by the City of Sevierville, Tennessee, to be the new home for Rowdy. Rowdy is the surviving monkey, one of two, that was left in a hot car in June, while the owners were visiting a water park.

Rowdy has been under the care of veterinarian, Dr. Mangum. This coming week we are due to appear in court to take custody of Rowdy. He will be joining our troop here in Middle Tennessee.

Prior to doing so, we need to complete the outdoor habitat that is crucial for Rowdy’s well-being. Upon completion, we will have a final inspection by USDA.

We are in need of a minimum of $450 right away to meet the deadline set by the District Attorney and the City Officials overseeing Rowdy’s future.

I need a favor! Our team has been in process to purchase the Wildlife Waystation in Sylmar, California-with the goal being to refurbish the facility & save the maltreated chimpanzees that are still there. But we just got word that CA Fish & Wildlife are planning on moving 6 of the remaining chimps out of the Waystation & into a substandard facility in Washington before the sale closes!

This is a tight-knit family of chimps, some of whom can read, write & do American sign language! This will have devastating effects on them!! One of the chimps lived in a house for 15 years & is now being forced to live in a tiny cage. These endangered, loving, sentient beings deserve better & are counting on us to be their voice!

These little guys are growing fast! And, for those curious let me share a few things…. Because everyone sees the monkeys and says “I want one….”

1. Monkeys are a full time commitment just like a child, except they don’t potty train…. So if they are living in your home…. Think diapers 4-5x a day for 20-50 years!

2. Like kids, they need you! They can’t just be parked in a cage for hours and hours while you’re at work. You must be home all day!

3. They need constant stimulation for a healthy mind, body and emotional state.

4. Vet bills are usually 4-5x more than the average pet. And there are few primate specialists.

5. They do bite, they are wild animals, they are emotional, they are 99% human…. And if you can understand and accept that…. Then do not get a monkey!

6. They don’t accept everyone, and you can’t force it. Therefor, not all of your friends or family will be able to enjoy being around your monkey.

7. They shouldn’t be raised as an only monkey. If you have one, you should truly have two or more.

These little guys are part of our educational program. We work hard to socialize and give them interaction with people all day.

This allows us to take these guys into the schools, summer programs and camps to share the info about these amazing animals.

We believe that education and exposure will help reduce the harm created to all of the animals we serve… because we allows people to better understand the needs, care requirements and behavior. These are the things few people understand before choosing them as pets!

This is one of the lives we are working to preserve & save!

Our team has been hard at work to take over the care of 32 incredible chimps. Each of them at one time were subject to the abuse of medical testing & research. The majority of these chimps have been together for 10-20 years. They are a bonded family unit. And, the vast majority are elderly as well.

No matter that our team has the assets in the $$$$ Millions to provide on going care, expertise like myself as a wildlife expert and readiness…. The State Agencies, major Non-Profits and political entities are determined to separate this Chimp family. They are planning to place them in other facilities that are “good for chimps” but are actually still licensed research facilities…. They keep giving us the run around, false promises and fraudulent information!

Why am I sharing this????

Because these animals are used for financial gain & status. Even the “so-called advocate groups” are taking in these animals for the gain of grants, donor infusion and media status. They utilize these animals to expand bank accounts… but then provide less than adequate care, stimulation and housing. The very ones swearing the best interest of the chimps, have been the very ones responsible for their current demise and struggle.

It’s time the truth is told about groups such as PETA, NAPSA, Save The Chimps & more…. They fly a banner of d**g good in their words…. But their deeds are contrary!

Our team at the Wildlife WayStation Sanctuary Network is built on the call that this work is all about DEEDS NOT WORDS!

This is why we don’t play mercenary to eliminate the bad guys by force… we educate, we invest, we buy out bad breeders and train other sanctuaries, care givers and groups…. To do this right… and give these animals a chance at a dignified life!
