💡 A Gentle Reminder to Our Community 💡
We know that reaching out to us when you’re struggling with your pet can come from a place of stress, frustration, or even heartbreak. Please know: we truly want to help. Every message we receive matters to us.
But here’s the reality — rescues and shelters across Vermont have been at full capacity for months. When you contact us asking us to take your pet today, we want to be honest with you: we simply can’t. Not because we don’t care, but because our fosters are full, our resources are stretched, and our team is running on empty.
👉 What we can do is help guide you toward other solutions that might ease your immediate stress:
Trainers who can support behavioral challenges
Boarding facilities for short-term housing needs
Community networks who may be able to step in with advice or support
We’re committed to working with you to find options — but we ask for patience and understanding. Just as you’re feeling overwhelmed, so are we.
If you’re reaching out, please know: we hear you, we care, and we want to help — but we cannot always be the instant solution. With kindness and teamwork, we can find a path forward for both you and your pet. 💚🐾
