Perfect opportunity for the pups to be in a new environment, meeting people of various ages, create positive associations with some typical triggers (rakes, hosepipe, bikes, helmets, umbrellas etc) have their brains tested with Enrichment activities and of course of lots of fuss from very willing participants.

We will never just have a puppy available as we would only breed knowing we have amazing homes lined up. We are happy to support potential owners in their search but unfortunately we won't be taking any more applications this year ❤️

Juniper and Jaskier welcomed 4 new members of the Arthundur family this morning. 3 girls and 1 boy.
As its world Red Head day we have gone for a red head theme for their Nicknames (cartoon red heads).

Our first home bred toller and what a special girl you are.
The most loving and soft dog just like your mum.
You have no idea about personal space and are number one ear cleaner, but we wouldn't have you any other way.

Honest post around becoming a human parent when you were a dog one first. I've seen a few people who have admitted to the very real struggles so here's mine.
I had been a dog mum for 6 years before we became human parents. I remember thinking when I was pregnant with our son 'what if I don't love him as much as the girls' this was a genuine worry of mine (obviously I love our boy more than anything or anyone) but I had no idea how monumental the shift was going to be. I wasn't expecting to be so frustrated with the girls when I brought our boy home, the hair, the noise, feeling touched out when all they wanted was me and they couldn't understand what was happening. I feel like crying when I reflect back on that time in our lives. I grieved the 'dog mum' I once was because I just couldn't be that anymore. I was physically, mentally and emotionally unable to give them what i felt they needed. Obviously they still had me  and I still loved them beyond measure but it was hard. I have a moment that haunts me still to this day I decided to strap my 10 week old to me and go for a walk with the 3 girls on my own. I had recovered from my c section and was feeling so optimistic. The girls walked fine and then we were greeted by two off lead greyhounds who were darting to and from my on lead girls. One of the girls lost it and began to pull and then the other two joined in to which the other owner laughed and said 'got your hands full' proceeding to walk past me with their dogs. I wanted to cry I kept thinking what if they had pulled me over and I hurt our son or what if I'd let go and they got hurt. I did have my hands full. I questioned if I was a good enough mum human and dog. It was a huge adjustment but we all did it. The girls have adjusted to the new addition (to varying degrees 🤣). And those walks with a toddler strapped to my back and the girls on lead happen though a lot heavier it's easier now. So for any new human parents who classed themselves as dog parents first don't worry it does gets easier and not everything you see on social media is real. Days can be tough but you'll also have beautiful moments with your human and fur babies together.

I think the girls have enjoyed their holidays as much as we have. Juniper has been living her best life with and his parents. Piper has been with her daughter Daphne camping and loving life with her aunty kirsty. Sansa has enjoyed some peace and quiet away from the younger two at her Grandma's...
