We all came outside to enjoy the sun and to work outdoors while we had light. Then it got cold. So some us moved into the grow house where it was warm. I asked who wanted to be rocked and the next thing I know Doug was walking in to place my feet on a rocker so the youngest could finish our nap. Now it is dark. Was even missing a child for a moment. Thankfully she found us. Guess I answered my own question. It was me. I wanted to rock. In the warmth of our grow house. While holding a grandchild. Us humming. It has been a productive day. We are sowing good seeds around here… and so much more. Love y’all. Who wants dinner? 😁

Last week at the we bought a whole chicken from Kelly of . Today we’ve enjoyed a simple cup of warm chicken broth as we piddle out doors. Satisfying. Now we can prepare another meal when we are ready to come in. It pleases us knowing that our purchase was from someone who cares about what we are eating. No wondering about the other stuff we hear talk about. It is a real chicken. Grateful. Thank you Kelly & Family for raising nourishing real food! Delicious!

Peas & Sunflowers soaked and ready. A tray of Cilantro is now in black out. We only have a few trays to sow for today. Teamwork makes the dream work. As my grandkids say on repeat. Doug finished placing a permanent barrier around the coop. Hopefully preventing some of the persnickety brood from seeking solitude under it. Need to sew & hang some privacy curtains in the few days. A little added comfort that we don’t mind giving our girls. Got to get back at it! Happy Saturday. Love y’all. ❤️ See you soon.
