Married in 1983 to Vickie, and after retiring from the Air force after 24 years of service, we started the kennel in 2013 outside the small town of Kenly, NC. We love to help people out with their dogs and train these amazing animals.

We are going to have a small change in puppy go home procedure. We microchip all our puppies shortly after they are whelped, and today we got a call and email from AKC Reunite. Thanks to our record keeping, a puppy purchased from us back in 2021 will now get to go back to their home and not get lost in the shelter system.

What is the change? We are no longer going to rely on the new owners to register the microchip in their new family member. Before any puppy goes home, We will sit down at the computer and register the microchip. If we are delivering the puppy, then the microchip registration fee will be paid to the kennel before delivery and we will register the puppy in your name.

UPDATE: Breeding has taken place. We will confirm pregnancy around 21 Sept 2024
Repeat breeding announcement:
Chloe has come into heat and we expect to breed her the third week in August 2024.
This breeding will be a repeat between 4XGMPR HR Paige's Little Chloe of RVK "Chloe" to 4XGMPR HR RVK's On The Wings Of Ezekiel "Zeke". The puppies from the previous litters between these two, we are liking what we see and hear in bird drive and train ability. We have also trained one from the first breeding to be a service dog for a veteran.
Both Chloe and Zeke have qualified for the APLA Triple Crown event and will be participating. Chloe and Zeke are also experienced hunting dogs for both upland and waterfowl. This will be a Black & Chocolate litter. UPDATE: Breeding has taken place. We will confirm pregnancy 11 Sept 2024. This will be an all yellow litter. Deposits Available.
We made a breeding change for 2024. Rain came into season this morning and we decided to breed her since the timing is perfect for her to compete in the APLA Triple Crown.
This will be a paring between 4XGMPR HR Excalibur's Fire and Ice of RVK "Rain" & 4XGMPR HR RVK's Paige's New Book Named Bently "Bently"

This morning we are working on in-line marks. It has been a long time since I did this with the dogs. All dogs had two sets on this and this morning, we are seeing how well they remembered and how quickly they work through the old fall. Zeke up first. And done very well.
