Hot clothing 🧼

Just look at the difference between the left and right side from only hot clothing one side!

Hot clothing is great for removing the grease, loose hair and giving the coat a shine with additional moisturizing properties

What you need:
▪️Bucket
▪️Hot water
▪️Cloths or small towels
▪️Second bucket for rinsing
▪️Baby oil

Preparation:
▪️Give the horse a good brush
▪️Have a clean rug ready to put on after

Process:
▪️Soak the cloth in the water, wring it out and then use it in circular motions with a bit of elbow grease behind it
▪️Keep rinsing the cloth in the second bucket and then swap cloth’s when it becomes covers in too much hair and grease

Get that shine without bathing the horse!! 🛁🧽

Got to do a couple first timers today!

First a yearling QH (look how incredible she looks🤩). She was a very good baby, was a big fan of the big clippers😆 (the shadows don’t help at all in this photo)

And second is a mini/shetland, this boy had so much hair we could’ve made another pony! He was loving the scratches afterwards now that his skin can breathe.

Both got rewarded a gold star for being so patient and brave!

Well the boys are back, and looking for their new homes sadly. Snickers, 3 old mini gelding

He has had lots of ground work time, very very people friendly and wants to be loved. Annoyingly easy to catch, if he could he would lay in your lap like a dog. Great with kids to lead around and play with, nothing really fazes him definitely a bomb proof mini. He’s great with his feet, utd with vaccines, and de-worming. Also has been full body clipper and bathed. Awesome to load aswell!
