What she is, is a spunky, super playful, overflowing with catitude antics, and a wildly entertaining personality. Once you have established yourself as her person, she will be by your side, observing everything you are doing and fully expecting to be your helper. Prepare to begin enjoying your mundane tasks with your new sidekick. One of her favorite pastimes is patrolling from window to window. She is a great watch cat and will let you know if anything is new or amiss. She is self entertaining in your absence but expect your arrival home to be greeted eagerly. Yes, more dog- like behaviors. ❤️🐾❤️ Meet Mickey & Minnie. They joined OakTree Crew Tuesday afternoon. Their mama went missing and 3 of their siblings didn’t survive. The well caring individual who reached out wanted to ensure the remaining 2 had a chance. They came in 5 weeks of age, weighing in at barely 200 grams.. (typical weight of a 2 week), not able to grasp the concept of eating on their own yet, dehydrated and diarrhea. Poor little babies. Well, 3 1/2 days later, their amazing foster mom reports a.m. weights Mickey, 410 grams and Minnie at 303! This pair is darling and very human attention seeking. Thank you all so much for your continued support that allows this Crew to give babies like this a fighting chance! ❤️🐾❤️

❤️🐾❤️ Check out this week’s feature tabby, Ivy! This girl is a riot! She has two speeds, On/Off! Her favorite thing to do is fetching! The video clips are too cute not to share. Photos of the gorgeous Ivy can be seen in the comments. She will settle into your lap for a re-energizing nap. Her foster mom and dad are convinced it is with one eye opened so as not to miss an opportunity for play. LOL! This girl is personality plus. ❤️🐾❤️ A boy named Sue, made it through, yet again, another surgery! We were happily surprised, but seriously, we should not have been, it is who he is… picked him up to bring him home, and he is lollling all over the inside of his carrier, He is such a happy, grateful soul. Dr Pacheco applied a stint, in hopes that this will be what keeps Sue from opening his gaping wound. We have a number of vet visits ahead, I had a chat with him. I explained the importance of leaving this alone. Yup, we all know how this will likely go. This hunk of gorgeous sweetness, hmmmmmm, let’s see what tomorrow a.m. video brings. Right now, he is a happy camper with a full belly. Please keep in mind, we are still begging for funds to cover his vetting, a boy name Sue says Thank You!

❤️🐾❤️ Snozzy’s vet visit did not go as we had desperately prayed that it would. Snozzy captured the hearts of his medical team at Norwichtown Vet immediately. Thank you all for your respect and compassion. Snozzy knew he was being loved. He knew he was being comforted. It was obvious to all that he was enjoying and grateful for the attention. Sadly, once all the diagnostic results and ultrasounds were reviewed, (organ, kidney and liver failure) we knew that despite our resolve to nurse him back and shower him with love, that we would have to love him a little harder and let him go.
We would like to believe that these resilient, forgiving souls truly do live in the moment. We were determined that we were going to pack a lifetime of love in 15 minutes. Snozzy crossed over having experienced Churu’s, Greenies, scritches, scratches, kisses, lap snuggles encased in a warm fuzzy blanket, and most importantly love, appreciation, respect and dignity.
Snozzy’s story will continue beyond his loss. As we mourn Snozzy, there are countless others just like him. Waiting for someone to notice them, love them, care for them and provide a hand of kindness, compassion and humanity. Become more aware of the harsh realities many of these abandoned, neglected animals face. Especially now. Shelters and rescues are at max capacity. Abandonment is at an all time high. Yesterday's loved pets are rapidly becoming today’s street cats.

Rest in Peace Snozzy the WomCat. In 24 hours you captured hearts and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to have experienced your heart. ❤️
🙏🐾🙏 Snozzy the WomCat came to us last night. He looks like a Wombat to us. This senior, outdoor roaming for a decade at least, is a wreck! His coat is clumped and matted despite being short-haired. His mouth breaks our heart thinking about it. Things are going on for sure by the odor. Suspect that is a contributing factor to what appears to be an upper respiratory infection. He can not open his eyes, but he has certainly opened his heart. He goes to the vet this afternoon. We promised him that we will do whatever it takes to give him a fighting chance. We are praying that with enough love, and medical care we can give Snozzy a chance to live what ever time he has left as a pampered spoiled boy. Please send good intentions and donations will be needed and greatly appreciated.
