After the rain stops, the baby zoomies start 🏎🏎🏎
Princess Aurora, best helper ever.
When your draft gelding gets tired of the grazing muzzle... and figures out how to get in the feed room 🫣

Serenity Retirement Boarding is so proud of our first newly designed and custom built feed room. So many thanks to Mathew Stauffer for the sweat, blood, and (manly) tears that went into making this completely perfect. We're incredibly pleased with the end result and can't wait for the other two feed rooms to be done!
This never gets old. Every single equine on the property comes over when they are called- but nobody does it in style quite like the Meadows pasture 😎
The Meadows herd was WILD yesterday! These kiddos sure can move!
Our soon-to-be fourth pasture is *officially* being cleared! It will still be quite a while before we can open any boarding positions in the new pasture- the soil must be tested and treated, grass seed drilled, a fence put up, and the pasture must mature for a year or so- but we should have FOUR beautiful pastures to offer sometime in 2024!
Many many thanks to Cable Co. for their efficient and tireless work this past two weeks!
We recently switched our horses over to feed bags at grain time. Daisy finished before our little Zen and is certain she can sweet-talk her way into sharing 😂

The rear driveway expansion is ON!! We can't wait to see what it looks like afterwards!
With all this rain lately, our kiddos all jump at the chance to enjoy the sun. Annie particularly loves to lay out for a few minutes and roll- she's 8 months pregnant and her belly is growing fast!
(PS notice the shadow of donkey ears coming in hot for pets at the bottom left 😂)
We tackle this particular chore in all the pastures every week, especially in the winter time when the 💩💩💩 is a bit of an eyesore. The manure feeds our pastures, and spreading it out helps prevent pests from breeding... plus, our pastures look great when we're done! We have to admit, we can't reeeeeally call it a chore when we have this much fun. Trust us, you'll want the sound on for this one.
Author's note: We'd like to thank Ramona Byrd for videoing off the back of the ATV for this clip. We are happy to report no mother-in-laws were harmed in the creation of this video 😂
These two were introduced today and immediately became fast (har har) friends! 🐎🐎🐎
