Just a thought about the importance of trail etiquette and safety. You should always be able to see the horses hind feet that’s in front of you. This way you don’t have to worry about being kicked by the horse in front and also gives yourself enough space to navigate in tough country.
Knowing how to react to an obstacle on the trail will allow even a skittish horse to have confidence in you as their rider.
