My girls LOVED some much needed solo time with their mom now that the kids are back at school. I had an easy day today, so that meant I finally had a few hours to do whatever my little heart desired. A walk down the Polly Anne trail followed by a trip to Dairy Queen was much needed!

I only scheduled 2 pups today as I had to make sure I was done in time to get the kiddos from their first day of school! These two certainly love their spaw days, that’s FUR sure!

My girlies went back to school today! I can’t believe I have a NINTH & THIRD grader! Holy smokes, does time just seem to fly by. Give my girls some good back to school juju ❤️❤️

When my kids are home and see that “Buddy XL golden doodle” is on the calendar, their eyes light up. Buddy was my FIRST EVER doodle client. I’ve watched him grow and grow into such a magnificent dog. He’s the only client of mine that gets along with my dogs (or that I’ve ever let be around my dogs for that matter). Buddy is just different. He’s the most easy going dog I’ve ever been around. Part of me wishes he could stay forever. I love you, Buddy!!!!

Squeezed this boy back into my schedule since I had to cancel his pre booked appointment that his dad booked over a month ago 🤦🏼‍♀️ To those clients who understand that life doesn’t always go as planned…then continue to work with me without holding any hostility… I love yall!!!!!

Oh Daisy girl. My seemingly small changes in this girl were actually MAJOR health issues (that her parents quickly addressed) Nov 2022 I noticed small red bumps along her belly, that ended up being a blood disorder! Now, this last time I groomed her… I noticed her breath was a bit more stinky than usual. Bad breath can be a sign of addisons disease and that’s what this poor girl was diagnosed with.

Dogs that I do regularly, their bodies are implemented into my brain. I notice the new lumps, the usual stinky breath, an itchy spot, a new boo boo. I will always inform owners of any changes I notice and this is exactly why! Shout out to Daisy’s owners for caring so much and taking the best care of their sweet girl ❤️

Sorry to cancel on everyone today. It sucks being a one woman show. I have to remind myself that I am in fact human and that I need to slow down a bit. This job takes SO much out of me. Mentally, physically & emotionally. Thank you all for understanding and I promise I better be well tomorrow. I hate having to do this to you guys what seems like every 6 months.

Paco is the last pup until Monday! Besides a nail trim or two🐾 I am going to enjoy some time with my family. My oldest daughter will be in her first marching band parade tomorrow… so excited! I am going to take a break from making appointments and will get back with you all Monday morning.

Ted’s mom is the best type of dog owner. Ted was an Amish puppy mill dog who didn’t have the best start at live. He’s a nervous guy, not a mean bone in his body… just a scared little dude. With having him groomed religiously every 5 weeks… Ted and I formed a relationship. He doesn’t shake on the table anymore, he doesn’t fight me for his legs/feet. He isn’t startled by the blow dryer. He doesn’t pull back when I gently touch his chin hair to finish his face. He’s perfect,his mom’s perfect. I’m so glad I’m his groomer!

London’s drainage tube for her hematoma has finally been removed. Since she did have it in for quite some time, it was a bleeder. I forgot my happy hoodie… so a homemade babushka did the trick! She did in fact keep it on for the whole car ride! Good girl, Londy!
