Hi all!

Sorry for the lack of updates! It's been a super busy few months which I'm so grateful for!

I now have some limited availability for walking & plenty for ad hoc pet drop ins if you are going away.

My weekends over the past few months have been filled with dog showing!

We have beeb busy this weekend at Windsor Championship Dog Show with a 1st place for 18 month old Titan!
Some of you may recognise Titan as he does enjoy joining pack walk to burn off some energy!

Hi all 👋

Thinking of trying an app like this where I can track your dogs walk then send it to you! If this would be of interest!?
Thought it may be nice for people to see where they have been exploring as I try to keep things varied for them where possible.

I wouldn't do this with my secure field dogs as obviously we got to the same field I privately rent most of the time, although do rent a different one when I can get a slot!

So for my smaller groups that are walked locally perhaps might be nice, I could screenshot it or send you a link to the app to see where we have been.

Will give it a few trial goes and let you know!

Hi I’m Jess, I’m on the Basset Hound Health Group, as a rep for the Lancashire, Yorkshire & Cheshire Basset Hound Club

The Basset Hound Health Group is run under the auspices of the 8 UK breed clubs, each club is represented by two health reps. The group has both an enormous wealth of knowledge and experience of the breed altogether amassing over a total of 500 years, which is remarkable. Our Breed Health Coordinator is Tina Watkins who is the important link between the Breed Clubs, the Health Group and works closely the Royal Kennel Club

As you know there has recently been a lot of talk about Lafora Disease (Myoclonic Epilepsy) and other more common diseases in Basset Hounds. We (the group) are about to embark on a study, researching and testing for Lafora’s Disease in dogs of 7 years and older, we are hoping this research will give us a better understanding and raise awareness of this horrid disease in our beloved Basset Hounds. To that end we are hoping to raise interest and are looking for kind donations however small to assist in our aim.
We have a just giving page and would be so grateful if you could donate even £1.

We are hoping to release more details about testing in the coming weeks, all will be released on social media.

Well, what a day!!!!
First place for my boy Titan in his class at Crufts today!
And 4th Place for My Queen Dodo!

Couldn't have asked anymore from these hounds and so chuffed to have their qualities recognised with fantastic placings 🥰

I CANNOT WAIT FOR SUNDAY 😍

I'm on Crufts countdown now guys!

I was super lucky to qualify 4 of my own dogs for Crufts 2024. Sadly I I don't have enough hands to take all 4 but I will be likely taking 2!

So just a heads up I may be a little slow to reply to messages at the weekend as Saturday I will be bathing, Grooming and final bits of training ready for a VERY early start on Sunday!

Had a little practice with my lovely young lad Titan who was imported from Brazil 🇧🇷
He's just over 1 year old now so this will be his first ever Crufts!
