It has been a very emotional week as I sadly lost my boy Bass on tuesday. 💔🌈🐾

Then also being my final week and hanging up the walking boots also hit me hard emotionally as all of the dogs I have walked through my ( nearly) 8 yrs of walking have all stolen a piece of my heart.

I have honestly had the best time ever looking after all your dogs, enjoying every second of our walks through the wind,rain, sun, snow and ice. Making millions of memories that will stay with me forever.
So thank you to each and everyone one of you who trusted me with your precious pooches, it has been an absolute honour to be part of their lives and yours too.
Thank you all for your kind words and generosity.

Dogs are the best therapy, thursday and fridays walks this week have helped me get through my own heartbreak of losing my boy but I have decided to continue with the changes to my life as I also have storm at home who I can spend more time with as she too enters her senior years. Never say never but for now a change is needed ❤

It’s all about the dogs!!

Hi my is name is Vicki, I am 38 yrs old and have many years experience with dogs, from being brought up with them in the family home to owning my own dogs. At the age of 12 I volunteered at a local rescue centre and was very fortunate to begin a full time job there when I left school. Whilst working there I also completed an NVQ level 2 in animal care and introduction courses in animal behaviour and dog training at Norton Radstock college.

After over 10+ yrs I left due to beginning a family, but never left being with dogs as I helped my Dad run a dog agility club and enrolled and completed an agility instructors course. Just over 3 yrs ago I began working for a dog walking company and have loved every second, including the wind,rain,mud and snow! I love seeing the dogs enjoying their walks and having fun interacting with each other and myself. I have gained so much knowledge through attending canine play and body language seminars and experience by being out playing and watching the dogs whilst on group or solo walks.

Dogs are my absolute passion and I cannot think of anything better than spending my day hanging out with them and seeing them enjoy life. There is never a dull day being out in the fresh air whether its sunny, raining, cold or windy with a small group of dogs having fun. I believe that dogs should enjoy their walks, by being allowed to do what dogs do best by sniffing and engaging in the environment around them. I only walk small groups of 3 to 4 dogs. I am passionate about promoting positive reinforcement to ensure that your dogs are 100% happy on their walks and enjoy every second of their time out exploring and playing.
