Critters all over the place. Amber is in her final months of school and she has been busy busy. I’ve been left in charge of the house and oh boy skulls all over the kitchen table antler mounts covering my pool table fish and deer mounts hanging the entry way more deer and fish down stairs. Either she’s gonna kill me or build me a shop and oh boy am I rooting for a shop 😅. Here is a few we finished up recently.

It’s that time of the year again leaves are falling there are apple pies in the oven and every buck is hunting for his own slice of pie. As we all gear up for battle this weekend don’t forget what these next few week are all about!! Big bucks and ice cold Beer !!! I hope everyone has a fun time with family and friends don’t forget to get the kids involved, stayin up past bedtime tracking deer, helping skin listening to the stories that’s the stuff they realy remember. If you get one give me a shout would love to put that memory on the wall for you! Still taking entries for youth drawing! Good luck to all and stay safe!
The youth hunters are sure getting it done again this year. Look at the size of these two big boys!! One day I’ll see something this big. Congrats again!
It’s been busy at Put’em lately so I apologize for the late post! Good luck to all the youth head out this weekend. Seems like social media is always judging hunters on there trophy’s. If your heart is racing or your hands shaking and your spending time with loved ones that makes it a trophy size doesn’t not matter! Get the pictures tell the story show it off that’s what it’s all about and if you want it on the wall give us a call. Same as last year we will be having two drawings on dec. 31st one free skull and one free shoulder mount will be givin out for the youth. It can be harvested during any season as along as it was taking by a youth. Parents can reach out for more info. Good luck your addiction to hunting and the outdoors is just beginning!
Good luck to all the bear hunters this weekend. I would guess your ass cracks will be wetter than the swamps you are hunting in with this heat. If you happen to lay the smack down on a yogi, give Put’em Up a shout. We would love to get your memory up on the wall!
Got this kitty all put together and sent home this week! Something about a cat’s eyes that makes you feel uneasy.
This past week in Canada I got to meet Jim Shockey at his museum Hand Of Man Museum. Highly recommend it if your touring Vancouver island! Was pretty cool meeting someone I watched as a kid in hunting shows I felt about 5 years old when he shook my hand..
Something about short hair deer gets me thinking about bow season… and it’s only June. Good luck to everyone planting food plots this year.. might have to switch to a stock tank instead of clover plus! Either way good luck getting your hunting spots set up. Here is an example of it paying off!
Got to work on something a little different and now I need a stronger mounting stand!! I’d like to thank Greenish Acres for letting me work on this beautiful Highlander! Excited for the next one to get back from tannery!
It has been a very busy winter/ spring at Put’em Up Taxidermy! I’d like to congratulate all the hunters on these magnificent animals they harvested. We are almost caught up. We had a set back with a tough pregnancy and are now blessed with another beautiful baby girl! She is here now everyone is doing great!! Thanks again I truly enjoy being able to bring your memories back to life!

2. Deer (buck or doe) has to be here by the end of season.
-We will have a live FB video for the drawing on January 1st!
The rut is coming in the next couple of weeks. If the big boy slips up, give us a call! 🦌

Something little different came through the shop. Working on these always makes me crave a steak and cold beer in a dive bar!

2021 bear rugs rolling out! Congrats to all the hunters and there trophies. Would like to give T&A outdoors and claw collectors a huge shout out for sending bear this way!!! It was a hell of a season lots of bear shoulder and half body mounts will be rolling out in the next couple months!
I’m gonna have to start watching Bill Dance reruns to catch up with these boys.. Some damn nice fish caught and heading out!! Thanks for the opportunity to work on your trophies!
Got some rugs rolling out from last fall. When I finally get to harvest one I will definitely be doing a rug!! Congrats to everyone that got it done last year!!
Some of the skulls we have done this year. Put the last batch in the tanks last night! If you have a skull here it’s either getting cleaned whitened or drying shouldn’t be just too long! Thank you everyone that let us work on your trophy’s from last fall!!!
