Mr Calvin here posing for this lovely sunset shot! Without a doubt, I love corgis. Mostly because they remind me of me: I'm short, struggle to run, and constantly want cookies.

AW!

Pew! Pew! Pew! ⁣

Cutest baby skunk I am. Baby skunks are adorable, that's for sure. But while they may look similar to fluffy, little, black and white kittens it doesn't mean that they'll behave like or are simply striped cats. While the young skunks are relatively small, they can pack the same powerful pungent punch as an adult and are able to pew pew pew up to 15 feet! If you spot young skunks all alone, do not immediately attempt to lend a helping hand. There could be an overprotective mother nearby ready to hit you with an unwanted whiff! This is the way! ⁣

Hey, everyone! Seems like many people are getting their COVID shots and getting back out there. Great news! Let's keep going so you all can have your vacations without compromise. Then I'd be more than happy to watch your "children" while you go out and have fun :)

PS- Don't be an animal. Get your shots*.

* = Unless you have a legitimate reason not to (e.g serious allergies to vaccines), but that's why we get vaccinated for you.

My good people, I have a humble request of you. Because of the amount of robo-calls I get, I normally don't answer the phone. If you call twice and/or leave a message, I will know that you are indeed not a robot. Email even works out as well. That's jo dot falkner 1 at gmail.com. I appreciate it!

Tip of the Day (for my other sitter friends): Sometimes, an animal may be too much for you. Whether they are emotionally scarred from previous owners or something else, they can be a little too aggressive/anxious/etc. There is no shame in handing off the reigns to someone with more experience in that arena. It's not a terrible reflection on you.
However, now there's something to gain more knowledge and strive for.
Now here's a meme.

Tip of the Day: Most animals are food motivated. Many can be trained using treats as rewards. And positive reinforcement (e.g. encouragement, pets, treats) works often better than negative reinforcement (e.g. striking the animal).
