Breeze is a 5-month-old kitten who was found as a stray. He loves other cats, is playful, and likes to be pet and held. He will need time to adjust to his new home with a quieter space (like a cage or small room) to adjust. He is best suited to a quieter home with no kids, since he gets skittish in busier environments. We are only considering adopters with at least one other playful cat at home. If you don't have any cats but are open to adopting a pair, we have other cats or kittens that could be a good companion for Breeze.
To apply for adoption, please complete our online application: https://www.jotform.com/mobykitrescue/adoption-application.
If you have already submitted an Adoption Application online and would like to be considered for Breeze, please let us know at [email protected].
If your application is selected and approved, you will be contacted and put in touch with his foster family for a meet and greet.
If you submit an application and do not hear back, don't worry! Your application will still be kept on file in case and can be used for other cats that become adoptable.
The adoption fee is $250 and includes the following: spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip, FeLV & FIV testing, deflea and vet examination.
Hi, I’m Forrest, and this is my sister, Jenny. We are just 3.5 months old and were found as strays. I was born with a deformity in my back legs, which I have very little use of. My sister Jenny is my emotional support sibling, and we hope to find a home together! Once I form a bond with you, I’m good about helping you know when I need something. In the meantime, while I can mostly hold my bladder, I need help expressing every 4 to 6 hours during the day. At night, I can easily go a whole 8 hours if you put me to bed on an empty bladder. I’ll be ready and waiting for you in the morning like a good little boy! I can also tell you when I need to move my bowels, and I’m getting better and better at doing that on my own. But I still need a little help about once a day. Other than that, I’m a typical kitten. I run and zoom around and get a ton of joy playing with cat toys and chasing my sister around. I absolutely love a good cat nap, and if you have space in your arms or on your lap, Jenny and I will pile in together for all the pets, love, and purrs. I know I might sound high-maintenance, but I promise I'm really high reward! Jenny and I will love you forever and we’ll all be best friends!
Although my deformed back leg doesn't cause me any pain, I'll be getting it amputated in the coming months. Moby Kit is paying for it, so my adopter would just need to transport me to the appointment.
Our ideal adopter is someone who is home often (perhaps a remote worker) and has a quieter home environment. We would be okay with older, gentle children who are cat-savvy. We would be comfortable with cats and possibly dogs with slow, proper introductions.

The adoption fee is just $250 for both Jenny and I and includes the following: spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip, FeLV & FIV testing, deflea and vet examination.

Even at the vet, Pixie is the sweetest and most loving girl!
Pixie is a 4-year-old cat who was thrown out of the house when her owners moved and left her behind with her kittens. Luckily, some kind neighbors set up a tent for her little family and brought them to us. She is a very sweet cat that loves head and neck scratches and will rub up against you and headbutt you for attention. She's very clingy and will be your little shadow whenever you're home. She loves to snuggle in bed with her foster mom and is very talkative with cute little chirps. She spends her day lounging in the window and loves to watch the birds. The only things Pixie doesn't like are when cats don't respect her boundaries and when her back is touched. Because of this, we're looking for a child-free home. She coexists with the other adult cat in her foster home, but grudgingly, so we'd like to find her a home where she can reign as queen.

Sweet Pixie will make a lucky person or couple very happy! She’s a couch potato, cuddler and avid bird watcher. A very chatty girl who is the perfect roommate.

Chip & Dale are a pair of 1-year-old brothers who were surrendered by their previous owner due to stress caused by the kids in the home. According to their owner, they like playing with toy balls and are very friendly. They just arrived at our rescue and have been a bit shy as they decompress, but they've been coming out of their shells more and more each day. This pair will do best in a quieter home without children. They were previously living with their mom, Ellie, and may do well with other friendly cats. Otherwise they would be happy on their own.

Father’s Day reminder - there are enough cat dads out there, please neuter your boys. This guy in the video was fixed as part of our TNR efforts 😺

A heartwarming thank you to all who have reached out about our latest intake! This adorable kitten has shown remarkable resilience, having faced the challenges of life on the streets with a disability. Thanks to our generous supporters and dedicated volunteers, we have been able to give this special kitten a second chance at a happy and healthy life. As we continue to provide for his needs, we are excited to share with you his progress. To help us with his care, please consider contributing to his vet bills or donating much-needed supplies such as pee pads, baby wipes, paper towels, and Blue Buffalo wet kitten food. Visit our website for more information: https://www.mobykitrescue.org/donate
Another rescue reached out asking if we could help a special needs kitten to ensure he wouldn’t be put to sleep. Our foster took him in and he instantly started pacing, crying and trying to climb the cage - we knew he needed at least one of his siblings to help soothe him ❤️ The other rescue kindly brought over his sibling and this video was taken shortly after they were reunited. As a rescue we never want to say no to these special needs kitties and we look to you our dedicated supporters for help. Anything helps! Needs for this kitten include vet bills, pee pads, wipes, paper towels, blue buffalo kitten wet food. Please put name suggestions in the comments!

Fluffy is a young, 2-year-old cat who was surrendered (with many other cats) when their owner became overwhelmed with their care. Fluffy is petite and as full of thumbs as she is with personality and sweetness. She loves kids dotes on her foster mom's son, so she would be a good fit for a home with school-aged children. Fluffy gets shy around other pets, so she's best suited as the only pet in her new home.
