I LOVE this guy! He is not doing well in the shelter environment and needs out!
🆘This handsome Rottweiler was surrendered by his owner due to no longer able to care for him.
🆘Okie Dokie (also known as Loki) is a young 1-2 year old who knows some basic cues such as sit and shake.
🆘He has done well with staff and volunteers but is stressed in the shelter environment. He has not been tested with other dogs but has been non reactive when passing by them.
🆘His favorite things are treats, play time, and affection.
🆘If anyone can save this handsome love-bug , please contact the shelter directly!

Zeus has been with stamford animal control for 1 year already. He needs a special home/owner. Zeus bonds very quickly with people especially if you bring him lots of treats and are patient with him, but he is a dog that needs to get muzzled whenever you take him to the vet. He will be a dog that needs to be crated when company comes over. The thing about Zeus is he gets very territorial over the people he loves and won’t think twice about protecting his home or persons. Once you’re in his circle he is the most loyal and affectionate snuggle bear. He deserves a chance. When we found him roaming the streets in Stamford he had a choke collar on with tags. We called the numbers on his tags and they never returned our calls or called looking for him. 😔 thanks for letting me share his story on here!

Lagatha ❤️ Tennis Balls, Belly Rubs, and Fun!

Lagatha is a sweet, beautiful girl who loves chasing tennis balls, getting belly rubs, and having fun. She's a big dog, and I was amazed at how fast she could run for a ball. It started raining, but that didn't slow her down. I decided we needed to wait for the rain to pass and had her sit with me under the canopy. I pulled out some treats, and that got her attention, and she was quick to sit for them. Lagatha is a super companion. She's sweet, well-behaved, and loves being loved on. I saw her later in the day with another volunteer, and she was enjoying belly rubs and scratches. She was adorable. I fell in love with Lagatha today and hope she finds a loving, forever home soon.

Meet the sweetest rottie ever, Rosie!

Rose is 4.5 years old and 1500$. She LOVES people and attention/affection. Her favorite thing is to give paw, to any body part available. She also loves cuddling and giving kisses! Rosie is gentle and calm.
