The boys, Goblin (red) and Ghost (blue). 6 weeks! All babies had baths, nail trims, dewormings and puppy area clean out etc. It was an eventful day for them and now they're tired.

Momma got a bath today. She was long overdue. I think her little boo crew will be next on the bath schedule one day this week. The corgis are due for a bath and blow out too. Everyone had nails done yesterday.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ We are BREEDERS ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our everyday life is about our dogs. While our friends are on vacation or having family celebrations, we spend our time preparing for the birth of puppies or looking after litters and our other dogs. Its really hard to have a proper vacation! A part of that is that it's really hard to trust our dogs to be looked after by someone else. Nobody knows them better than we do.
All of our plans are made to not collide with birth dates, puppies and vet appointments.
Before a birth, we don't sleep for two or three days (sometimes even longer) because we support and care for the future mother.
As each puppy comes, we pray that it is healthy and strong. If something is wrong with the puppy, we fight for his life for hours, days or weeks. Sometimes puppies are dying in our hands, and that's the worst thing that can happen to a breeder. It breaks our hearts into a million pieces and these memories never fade.
We sleep for weeks next to the litter box with mum and puppies to monitor the litter every minute... we're actually not sleeping much at all this month. Our vets know us by our first name.
Not everyone gets our puppies, not at all, we say no more than we say yes, our Puppies are our children and we just want the best suited homes for them. Every puppy that leaves us takes a piece of our heart with them.
We always hope that our new puppy owners stay in touch and update us.
We are ALWAYS here for help and advice for our offspring and have made good friends with several of our puppy families.
Money is not made sitting on our bum's like some people think. Every penny we take is earned with a lot of work, tears, stress, blood and sacrifices. Being a responsible breeder isn't a "9 to 5" - job, it's 24/7. Dogs need attention every day and every night all year around.
Money will be spent again on dogs and our breeding. It's a cycle. Our house is not perfectly clean, never, and our clothes and possessions are sometimes full of dog hair. But this is our life and we wouldn't change it for anything. We are breeders! ❤️

Pupdates! 5 weeks old! Only 3 weeks to go!!! We have one little boy (Ghost, the blue in the first few photos) still looking for his forever family. He will be fantastic for a family with kids! Everyone got their first nail trim with the Dremel instead of clippers today also!!

Your Dog is Not a Baby!
Todays culture is absolutely ruining dogs and as behaviourists we are seeing more and more preventable problems appearing not only at our facilities but in the public domain too!
People are treating their dogs like children, and no matter how much you say it, or what you believe, they are not children. They are dogs... An apex predator with forty two teeth in their head and a bite pressure that can break bones.
They deserve treating like dogs!
Somehow treating your dog like a dog has become a taboo subject and its because of the warped, snowflake generation that's flooding the industry.
Can't say no to a dog.
Can't go in cold weather with a dog.
Can't let a dog get muddy.
Can't give a dog a job.
Can't feed a dog raw meat.
If your dog is in shape its too skinny.
We are walking around in a world where giving your dog a job is cruel beyond belief but having a dog 30kg overweight with diabetes falling out of its ears is absolutely fine. It's warped and twisted and wrong.
They are dogs! Treat them as dogs. You cannot take any pristine animal on this earth and pretend that it's a baby. Oh hello, this is my whale, he is my baby. It doesn't work like that, and if you respect the dog, it doesn't work with them either.
We have to push back on this snowflake mentality because it is literally killing dogs. Dogs are being euthanised every day purely because nobody told them what rules they were supposed to follow or because they weren't given a job they so desperately wanted.
Let's start honouring our dogs for the absolutely amazing creatures they are. Dogs are magnificent, majestic, intelligent, robust. For me, they are the best animal on the planet so let's stop killing them and treat them for exactly what they are.
Honor your dog.

Today's snuggle session. Ghoul is going to fit in perfectly here on the farm. She is so laid back but had a nice playful streak. Goblin was absolutely fascinated by the fish tank. He is extremely laid back and loving with a small playful side. He likes to sleep or just stare at you. (Goblin has a home.)
Ghost is going to be amazing for a family with kids. He adores my boys and is very playful with a decent off switch too. He is definitely the clown of the bunch and always making us laugh. He is my youngest son's favorite and is looking for his forever home!

This. Litter. YALL. Most pups are at least curious about mush the first couple days. They did that at least. But they will NOT take more than a taste for the life of me. But feed momma in the box and sprinkle some around for them and they're all over the hard food and crunching the best they can. 😑 These guys said they ain't got time for baby stuff. They're go getters. They went from infant to toddler with no in between 🤣

Ghoul and Goblin use the litter pan already. I haven't seen Ghost use it yet but I believe he has been too.

We tried our first mush today (I have to find my shirt bowls specifically for this) and moved from the pool to a large box to start getting accustomed to the litter pan. Goblin was most enthusiastic about the litter pan and all were equally intrigued by the puppy mush. Not a lot eaten being the first time but definitely lots of interest. They'll be eating in a day or two.

Babies got their 2nd nail trim today and some snuggles. The boys are trying to walk but chunky little ghoul is content just watching so I've been exercising her the best I can for a 2 week old. She isn't happy with me 🤣

*sigh* this puppy stresses me out y'all. His fav way/place to sleep. This is Goblin, the red boy. He will crawl up there and put himself in these positions. I have watched him several times and moved him every time. He is OUT. 🤣

Tonight's snuggles after ENS. ENS stands for early neurological stimulation. From day 1-day 14 we do this once a day. Each session consist of touching their feet , touching their feet with something wet, touching their feet with something cold, letting them feel the vibration from a Dremel handle, rubbing under their necks, their bellies, spreading their toes and rubbing around their mouths etc. We hold them upright (like a baby on a knee), on their backs and upside down. Each little bit of stimulation only lasts a few seconds at first and longer each day as they age. There are many benefits to ENS in puppies. We start working with them on day one up until they leave us to bring you the most well rounded puppy possible!

We lost one little baby boy this morning around 4:30-5am and are absolutely heart broken. The remaining 3 babies are doing great so far and momma has been amazing just like last time.

We hit the 98° range about mid day today and have stayed in it. Fingers crossed y'all. I believe we may have some Halloween or halloween-eve babies!
