💜SSDR Foster girls - Joy & Maya💜
I have never known a dog to be quite as affectionate as these two beautiful souls. I've fostered some cuddly dogs but these two are next level. I can not believe that they were about to leave this world forever 😭.
They came to us last week with fleas, no manners and Joy was skin and bone!
Joy is still skin and bone but we are working on the fleas, they have both cracked house training and are getting much better with taking food and treats! Joy is veeeeery slowly putting on weight. She has tried to speed the process up! She's a very skilled counter surfer and an d an even better cat burglar! She has managed to open doors and retrieve a bumper bag of rabbit ears from a 6ft high shelf! She definitely keeps us on our toes!
Nearly a week in and these girls are settling in brilliantly.
Fostering is so beautiful, it makes my heart full!
Please, please consider fostering or supporting rescues. 💜

Good evening!
Are there any photographers that would like to add some husky/Malamute images to their portfolio?
I usually do all of our photography but it is our 3rd anniversary coming up and we will have over 20 dogs so it may be a cool opportunity for someone interested in dog photography to get some experience and spend some time with the pack.
Here are some shots from the park that we will be using.

I've had so many messages about Akira! Saints did manage to secure an extension with the kennels and they have also secured a foster home!
We now need help with transport! We desperately need a volunteer(s) to help transport Akira from Mansfield to Church Fenton, tomorrow!

*Mama & Baby*

This afternoon, Mama and Baby took a trip to Bramley RAW & MORE / West Yorkshire K9 Fertility Clinic for a groom. They were such good girls and they are so clean now!
When we finished, the lovely lady who works there (Shelly) surprised us both a box of goodies for the girls and any future fosters, how amazing is that!? Thank you so much! 💜
The girls are now sound asleep after their adventure. 😊

Meet Baby! Baby was due to be put to sleep before Saints stepped in and we agreed to foster her and Mama. We are raising the funds needed for their second set of jabs, their spaying and a new Harness, Collar and lead as they came with nothing! (Luckily the HMWY members rallied and they are borrowed some bits for now!

As the duo don't have names, we are holding a little competition to raise some money towards these costs!

📢woohoo! 4 saved, one to go!📢

Thank you all so much! I have just finished work and so happy to see that we have secured a foster home for Bliss.
Akiras time is also up tomorrow and Saints are desperately trying to secure extra time!
She has served her time but we know that there must be a foster family for her out there!

Fingers crossed that we can get an extension for her! Please share!! 10 months old and facing being put to sleep is horrifying! Save Akira and finish what has been, an amazing two days for saviours and lucky pups!

We can transport anywhere in the UK!

Update on the two stray dogs! We have secured a foster place for the unnamed male, that just leaves Bliss who will be left alone and will be put to sleep.
She is so dainty, so adorable and doesn't deserve to be left behind. She is only though to be around 2-3 years old and has so much potential!
We have saved 3 lives already, please help us to share a fourth!

If anyone can foster Bliss, you would be saving a life that would likely be somebodies best friend one day! You would have the help of Saints Sled Dog Rescue and from myself too!

I have my cap in hand, on the lookout for any donations to raffle/auction off to try raise the spaying costs for the two girls that have been rescued from being put to sleep. The rescue is splitting at the seams so if we can try raise some of the costs, I know the rescue would be more grateful than you could ever know!

Both are scheduled to be put to sleep as they have had their 7 days, it is heartbreaking! Bliss was found as a stray and is around 2-3yrs, the male was found as a stray the next day. They're more than likely related, he has no name.
They are both so gorgeous and don't deserve to die!
If anyone can foster one of the them, you would be saving a life that would likely be somebodies best friend one day! You would have the help of Saints Sled Dog Rescue and from myself too!

📢 Announcement! 📢
Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a sucker for a sad story!
So, when Lorna at Saints Sled Dog Rescue messaged me to ask if I could take in any of the dogs that are on the list to be put to sleep, I couldn't say no!
We will be welcoming Mum and daughter to the Purdy household on Wednesday! Mum is especially skinny and both will need vaccinations and spaying, so, I will be trying to raise the money as Saints Sled Dog Rescue have so many other dogs to help! There are atleast 4 other dogs that are at risk of being PTS! 😭
This gorgeous pair are coming to us without names. They were found tied to a lamp post and nothing on their chips. So stay tuned for more on that!
Two dogs saved from losing their lives needlessly. If you are able to help save a dogs life, please do get in touch!

What a lovely day for a social at our favourite field! If Parkfield Dog Park had a pond, it would be absolute perfection! For now, the doggos are happy with the pools that The Puppy Master kindly let's us use!
Look how happy they all are! We can't wait to be back in a month's time with 20 fluffy bums, celebrating our 3rd pack anniversary 💜

Me and Nook took a trip to Bramley RAW & MORE to use their self service groom room. Nook is a diamond when being groomed, unlike Nix who freaks out like a typical husky.
However, I think he prefers it when we are the ones Grooming him and we had a brilliant time! £10 a dog which is a bargain!
Tons of fluff later, Nook looks clean for a day or two!
I took my own brushes and will probably take my own shampoo next time, only because I love it!
Really lovely staff too, it was lovely visit. We even bought lots of treats before heading home.
They are due to have a refit of the room, with new equipment!

Finally reunited with our boys, who are absolutely shattered! 😅
They have had the most amazing holiday with Danielle and her team at Love of dogs training and boarding! Lots of exercise, lots of playing and lots of cuddles have totally wiped them out. We didn't get home until 4am and then set off to collect them at 11am, so home for a family nap! 🤣

Missing my boys like crazy, so I dognapped some of the HMWY pack. The beautiful zoomie Rumi and the handsome, smiley Smokey. It was lovely to have some company again on my early morning walk.

I am just back from a visit to the boarding kennels that the boys will be holidaying at next month. It are absolutely amazing, the staff are so lovely and the grounds are huge! I am thrilled that we found them and the boys loved it! They had a walk around and a play in one of their several off lead areas, they were shattered after! It was so peaceful and they specialise in reactive doggos so they have gone to great lengths to make sure that every visitor is a very happy doggy!
They also rent out one of their secure woodland fields, so check them out! Love of dogs training and boarding

Recommendations needed please!

I have contacted the Kennels that the boys are due to stay at whilst we are on holiday, as I wanted to request updates with Phoenixs focal seizures.
The kennels have said that they are no longer able to have Phoenix due to safety concerns. I have been concerned about him being in kennels and now its out of my hands anyway.
Does anyone know of any good dog boarders please? We would prefer the boys to stay together but that may not be possible! Xx
