It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing away of Evelyn, owner and founder of Fun Way Dog Training, in July 2020.

This also means the closing down of Fun Way, as well as this page.

Thank you to all the owners and dogs that have been part of the Fun Way family throughout the years, we wish you all the very best.

It’s getting to that time of year again where the temperature is creeping up. Be aware of the signs of heatstroke in your dog (Dogs Trust infographic linked below), make sure they have access to water and shade, walk them in the early morning or late evening, never leave them in the car, hot room or sun trap. If you’re worried your dog is experiencing heatstroke follow the instructions below and call your vet immediately.

If your dog is experiencing any signs of heatstroke, make sure to:

🕶️ Move the dog into shade
💦Pour small amounts of tepid water onto their body (never cold water)
🚰Help them to drink small amounts of tepid water
🏥Once breathing settles, call the nearest vet

We have taken the decision to suspend all classes during this caronavirus outbreak. It is the sensible thing to do in the light of the information and advice being given by the Government and it's advisors. We hope to return as soon as possible.

The Future. We are planning some things that we can do whilst we can no longer meet up as groups. Once these have been properly planned, we will make our announcements.

When: March 20th 2020 @ 6:40- 7:20 pm

Where: Buckingham Park Community Centre

Run by Fun Way Dog Training.

Long established in Milton Keynes and Little Horwood, Fun Way Dog Training is excited to now offer classes in Aylesbury.

This 7 week puppy courses is open to puppies up to 6 months of age on start date. Puppies must have completed their vaccinations before start.

Each course is £90 and classes are 40 minutes, using positive, force-free methods and taught by professional trainers. These classes focus on teaching you and your puppy the life skills they will need to be happy, well mannered, members of your family!

Depending on numbers we may also be offering follow-on courses in the future.

PUPPY ESSENTIALS COURSE – Level 1

This Course covers Calmness, Food Magnet, Puppy Focus on You, Loose Lead Walking, Automatic Sits, Greeting People, Greeting other puppies, Food Manners, Come Back when Called, Leave, Handling and Grooming, Wait, and more, including dealing with jumping up. Methods used will include games and ‘real-life’ set-ups, all designed to encourage your puppy to focus and listen to you.

We started our first Puppy Course in Aylesbury this evening and we had four absolutely adorable puppies. It is going to be wonderful watching them soak up the learning and grow into fantastic well-behaved companions for their owners.
