As the new year rolls around I always reminisce about dreams accomplished (both mine and my students') and dreams yet to be conquered. Thank you to my friends, family and students for a wonderful and successful 2023 and here's to all the hard work and determination that will make our dreams come true in 2024. Congratulations to all my students on all the hard work and dedication they have put into their horses! We went to our first ranch riding show last weekend and it could not have gone better!!

Congratulations to Abby Sayles! First place in ranch trail, ranch rail, and ranch riding and third in ranch conformation and rounded out the weekend with the high point buckle.

Also congratulations to Cecelia LaMontia for first place in ranch conformation, second in ranch rail, second in ranch trail and third in ranch riding.

And last but not least! Congratulations to Julia Schmidt for second in ranch conformation, second in ranch riding, third in ranch trail and third in ranch rail.

You girls are amazing and you are truly becoming awesome riders. I'm so proud to be your trainer!!

My first Top Ten jacket!! As milestones go, this one's pretty awesome. This horse has taught me a lot and we've come a long way. Thank you Remy, a.k.a. Voodoo in My Dreams, for being the awesome horse that you are and good luck to LeAnn Olley in the future with him. I have no doubt you will fall in love with him like I did. ❤️😊

If you're looking for your unicorn, look no further! This 2018 gelding by Shiners Voodoo Dr has it all - the look, the talent and the heart. He loves his job and gets better all the time. He has had very limited showing but he consistently shows above 70 and in his last outing he scored 72.5! He's easily quiet enough for a youth or non-pro but talented enough for the open pen. So proud of this horse!! We scored a 72.5 to tie for second in the novice horse!! His heart and try just can't be beat. ❤️❤️

Yesterday was a pretty good day!! I took a few students to a horse show. For a couple it was their first outing and all in all, I'd say it was a huge success!! Here's to looking forward to a year of many more! 😊

First show of the season is in the books and I'm feeling pretty good about how it went! Love the heart and try of this horse and I can't wait to see how the year turns out!! First in Rookie Pro and tied for second in Limited Open. ❤❤❤
