Got some lovely mail this morning. Thank you Dan Flynn, Kristin Ouellette, John Nys and my own Tim Maclay for everything you've all done to help bring Rannoch (new Bronze Grand Champion) and Blue (achieved his Excellent Agility Jumper title, now competing at the Master level) through such an exciting spring. We look forward to getting back in the rings soon!

Just learned that after 3 months of showing, Rannoch, beautifully shown by Dan Flynn with help from Kristin Ouellette, is currently placed among the top 10 flatcoats in the country in both Breed and All-Breed rankings. We are blown away. Rannoch is less-impressed, more focussed on relaxing with her daughter today....

When I was little, I was always thrilled when Ranger Rick magazine arrived each month - my own mail! These days it's usually bills and junk, very unthrilling. But today was again thrilling. Blue and Rannoch are just rockin' it. As I write this, all the dogs are lying scattered about/on me waiting to go on a walk - whether they're 'on' or 'off', it such a joy to share these days with them.

The puppies' new collars arrived today - real ones, not velcro strips - part of getting ready for the next stage of their lives. I've been waiting and waiting for them to arrive, but now they're here it's a little sad. Just a couple more weeks with these darlings before most of them depart for new families, love, and adventures. 🥲

To our amazement, all the pups in this Scottish Lochs litter are now spoken for. We're so glad there's enthusiasm for these pups for whom we have such hopes. Onward!

We are very excited to announce our anticipated late spring breeding of Rannoch (GCH Huntlane Ready Or Not SBN) to Blue (CH Wingmaster Veritas Et Virtu NA NAJ SBN)! This is a long-awaited and carefully planned mating. Both dogs come from great, widely diverse pedigrees with deep excellence in everything from conformation to field training to agility and more - and of course, most of all, beloved companions and family members.
