Snow-white, 8 weeks (her shelter name) was 1 of 4 born in a trailer park, the only one not scooped up by folks wanting to spontaneously "adopt" a street kitten, left behind, alone and terrified.

We pulled this tiny girl from the shelter today, the shelter is actively trying to locate siblings and offer spay/neuter and vaccines which they will likely never get otherwise.

Please don't pluck kittens off the street, please find rescue for the WHOLE FAMILY. This baby's mom is still out there, likely moved on from the area and pregnant again 😮‍💨. We need to do better as a society or babies like Snow White will continue to suffer.

Late last night our founder was sent the video in the comments, a kitten alone that had been watched all day without a mom returning. Mom was not known to the property and it seems as if this little one was dropped in transit. Unfortunately, the rescue Network that was contacted by the barn owner was not able to send someone unless a rescue was in place to secure the kitten this morning. We could not go to sleep with the image of that baby searching around for food and trying to nurse from a stuffed animal in our mind.

Gwen is still patiently looking forward to her own forever home. She is 2 years old and enjoys petting and being brushed, she absolutely loves people and affection and would do well in a patient home where she can continue to become more and more confident everyday.

Gwen is up to date on vaccines and spayed and her microchip will transfer to her new family when she is adopted. She gets along well with other cats and dogs and has lovely manners in the house.

Please help if you are able, cocoa was in the ER last night for a post-op infection after spay. She has not been feeling well enough to eat and has lost weight.

The pictured bills are what we have spent so far and if she does not recover with 48 hours of antibiotics our next step is an ultrasound. We definitely need our communities help!

>>>>>>First, I want to mention this transport run has failed not due to the transporters BUT due to the foster who has now abandoned them!!! We are looking for a temp foster even for a few weeks or a permanent foster until they get adopted.

Second, I know some of you below are asking why you haven't heard back, you submitted an application, you can help, etc. Please! Be Patient with us, there are two of us working on this and I will be honest I am not well. I got very badly hurt so I am working at maybe 40% capacity, but I am trying. Tasha has been doing a lot and will be back home Monday. We have been getting a lot of offers since we posted for help, not all are valid offers. Many are less than desirable, and we have to check everybody out that calls, writes and mgs, so we will respond! Give us time, please!

Barely 12 weeks old, barely 3 lb, in heat with a pyometra (infected uterus).

Anna was lucky to have a human mama that worked with us to get her through our spay clinic, Anna's mama knew that she needed to be spayed but did not know that she was carrying a ticking Time bomb in her tiny body.

Anna was born outside and without surgery, in the window that she got it, her best options were to become pregnant at 3 months old which likely would have been fatal to her as her body is still very kitten size and could not support a litter or to slowly succumb to the infection growing within her reproductive organs.

We will always include owned animals in our monthly clinic runs, We have a very small fund to cover the cost of surgery for owned animals whose families cannot afford it. We do this at the sacrifice of our own time and energy and Anna will always be our reason why.

Please help!

Someone close to our organization is in an emergency situation leaving a bad marriage and needs immediate placement for two cats and two dogs. We will post the dogs separately but are looking for Fosters immediately for the cats. Both cats may end up as an owner surrender to York county Animal shelter who has notified the owner that owner surrenders have a 95% chance of a euthanasia outcome. They have until the end of June to find placement.

Luna, a 4 yo spayed domestic short hair indoor empress of the bathroom. She enjoys long naps in the bathtub after showers are over and begging for pets while the humans are otherwise engaged sitting down by tapping them with her soft paws. She has all of her claws, but doesn't use them to get attention. Not a fan of being transported in human arms, she prefers to approach in her own time with sideways hops.

Alex, a yo domestic short hair master of hide and seek, given away every time by her inability to resist the temptation of conversation. Favorite past times include telling humans about their short comings from a social distance and prancing when she allows someone to give her back scratches. She is a lover of the indoors, terrified of the outside world and occasionally her own shadow and reflection.

There has been a world of interest in this little girl so here is the update- Latte was taken for spay by our founder this morning and already has had numerous foster offers in addition to having a meet and greet scheduled.

This little girl will stay with our partner rescue Rugby’s Rescues after surgery and until her meet and greet this weekend but fingers and paws crossed that she will be going home soon!

The dark side of this happy rescue story is bleak but frankly Latte is lucky- so incredibly lucky to have been trapped and to have had an opportunity to receive spay surgery.

We know that the community is still divided on the necessity of spay abortion procedures but what we have here is a 4 to 6-month-old kitten who became pregnant during her first heat cycle when she was likely barely 4 months old. She is a kitten herself, she is smaller than her pictures do justice and we cannot even begin to imagine what it would be like for her to deliver and raise kittens outside in the summer heat should she have survived. Thank goodness that our tnr heroes exist, partner with local rescues and the community shelters and were there for this sweet baby when she needed it. Thanks to them- Latte will get to be a kitten herself and grow up with her forever family.

The rescue community is drowning this season. We need your support in a way we never have.

Happy Caturday to our feline loving community!

Today we have a plug for Tinkerbell, a lovely 3-year-old dilute tortoise shell female cat who has been spayed and fully vaccinated. Tinkerbell lives in a busy foster home with lots of cats and dogs. She does well with 90% of the cats and may benefit from quieter environment or male kitty companions. Doggies don't bother Tinkerbell at all!

Tinkerbell was adopted and returned to us previously because her adoptive mama was looking for a more cuddly cat and brought a second feline into the house without a proper introduction. Unfortunately the second feline beat up our Tinkerbell but as she was deemed more outgoing in affectionate she was the one that was kept.

Tinkerbell would like to be a beautiful accessory in your home. She will get more and more comfortable with cuddling and affection as she gets established in a safe environment. Currently she enjoys being petted while eating her food and will choose to be in almost every room with you as she loves to study human behavior and allow you to gaze upon her beautiful dapple coat.

Tinkerbell is well worth the patience to earn her love and trust and we hope that you agree!
