Heading into 2025 we wanted to post some updates and reminders!

⬆️Updates:

🌟As we welcome two new trainers to our team (about us posts to come) we want to let everyone know there will be extra support trainers and teachers at each class. Everyone is available to answer questions and support you on your training journey! We are super excited to have them as part of the team!

✅Reminders:

🔵All prepaid sessions from 2024 MUST be used by Feb 28,2025. As per policy, prepaid sessions have a 30 day expiry but due to some time away etc I am allowing use until end of February. After that they will not be honoured.

🔵As a reminder, no shows, and cancelations within 24 hours are subject to full session fee. Our time is valuable too.
Should your fee not be paid before the missed session, double will be due at booking of the next session. Next sessions will not be booked without payment.

🔵There are no refunds for missed classes or seminars.

🔵All dogs vaccines must be kept up to date.

🔵30 minute private sessions are available for scent work clients. Please message for booking.

We are all here to have fun, support and learn with our dogs! Looking forward to what 2025 brings. 🐶🐾

🦴Level 1 obedience mini series. 🦴

Are you interested in an obedience class with your dog but not sure about committing to classes? Our mini series will introduce you and your dog to obedience foundations as we work on relationship building.

We will touch on reward markers, sit, down, stay, recall and more all while building a happy confident dog!

No experinece necessary! We also welcome all dogs with experience who want to refresh or build skills to attend level 1.

We have 8 spots available. Classes run on Thursday nights from 6:30-7:30pm.

$150 for the set, due on registration.

Exciting news! 🗞️

We have decided to run a few mini class sets before Christmas!

If you have ever wanted to try scent work with your dog we are running a 3 class series to introduce your dog to the fun of scent detection!

Reactive dogs are welcome as dogs do not work alongside each other, please reach out to us if you’d like to bring a reactive dog. 🐶

Classes start Nov 28 for 3 Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 pm.

$150 for the set, due on registration.

We have exciting news for 2025!

⭐️In 2025, we will be adding a few more services. 🐾⭐️

🦴Structured walks- We pick your dog up for a training walk to work on leash walking, manners, socialization and confidence building.

🦴Take and train- too busy to work on training regularly ? This option is specific to your dogs needs, we will pickup your dog and work through your dogs specific needs for an hour session.

🦴Board and Train- your dog spends 2-4 weeks with one of our amazing trainers to work through training specific to your dog, and your household needs.

🦴Dog Walking- a simple dog walk with 1-4 other suitable dogs.

We will also be offering more group obedience classes, private training and scent work in 2025. We have an indoor location, as well and private location secured for all things training.

You’ll have access to more trainers within Pawcademy, all with a wide variety of knowledge, skills and pricing.

⭐️FULL⭐️

We have had 2 last minute spots open up in our advanced scentwork workshop next weekend, Sept 28 & 29 in Vernon, BC.

We will be focusing on skill building and trouble shooting day one and trial scenarios day two. Dogs must be searching at the intermediate/advanced level to attended and be familiar with wintergreen, pine and thyme odors.

Danielle is an extremely talented handler and teacher with many years experience handling dogs professionally as well as judging with SDDA.

After some time off for maternity leave we are excited to be returning to classes September 2024!

Obedience Classes

Intro to manners and obedience class. Our Foundations 1 class will focus on handler engagement, how to begin to work through distraction, sit, stay and recalls. We focus on positive methods while setting boundaries that are clear for the dog to understand building a great, fun relationship between dog and handler.
This class is also suitable for dogs with basic obedience commands who need to build engagement, and distraction work.

Reactive dog? Please PM me and we can discuss suitable options for you and your dog before sign up.

$200 for 4 classes.

Classes are held outdoors in a private field location in Vernon, BC. Should the weather not be suitable, classes will be moved indoors.

It’s been a while since we have posted on social media! We welcomed a little girl to our family back in November.

Now that we are settled into our family life, we will be organizing some more classes. Starting with small group foundation classes. They will be sets of 4 classes, held outdoors and focus on engagement, distractions and basic commands…. More levels to come!
