Nice to see some good press for dogs! Two loyal family pets caring for a lost two year old who wandered four miles into Canadian forest 🐾

One dog provided support and another kept watch as two-year-old girl was found three miles from Upper Peninsula home in slumber

Enjoying the sunshine at last! We still have a few spaces here and there for short stays over the summer and some longer ones in the autumn. Ideal for girls and neutered boys of small to medium sized breeds who enjoy lots of TLC in a dog friendly, experienced and welcoming home environment.

I still have some weeks/short stays available in 2023! Please message me if you have any dates in mind, and include some brief details about your dog (M/F, neutered or not, age, any particular breed or cross breed, age and size). We can have a chat and arrange a meet up for a walk, followed by a cuppa at my house while your dog has a look around the house and garden. If everyone is happy we can then go ahead and firm up your booking. Please note I'm not currently taking unneutered male dogs (sorry!)

I had a very interesting day Dog First Aid training with Louise and Opie at the aptly named ‘Barkway Village Hall’. I definitely feel more confident to try canine CPR and to deal with little accidents as well as knowing what to do for bigger emergencies. Louise’s dog Opie was a star, that’s him with me in the front of the photo!
