The Page Farms 2025 SDT with be held January 17th - January 20th with 2 Opens over 3-4 days, 3 Nursery classes and 3 days of Open Ranch, Pro-Novice and Novice. Our open judge this year is James Mc Laughlin for both trials. Immediately after the trial, 1/21-1/23, we will be hosting a clinic with James. Working spots are limited to 10 handlers, unlimited auditing and private lessons on the third day. Please message me if you’re interested in the clinic.

The camping field is available anytime Thursday remember to leave room for others as you park.
Run orders:
Friday: Big Field- 7:30am Nursery 1, Open 1 runs 1-60
Saturday: Big Field 7:30am finish Open 1, Nursery 2 and start open 2 runs 1-30
Small field: 8am Novice, Pro Novice, Ranch, Nursery 3
Sunday: Big field-7:30am Finish open 2
Small field: 8am Novice, Pro Novice, Ranch, Nursery 3
Monday: Big field- any remaining open 2 runs
Small field 8am Nursery 4, Ranch, Pro Novice and Novice

Directions: Take I-16 to exit 138. Traveling east turn right off the ramp, traveling west turn left off the ramp. Go to the first road on the left. Bill Futch Rd. Travel about a mile to 2700 on the left, drive past the house and turn left into the drive between the house and the field. RV parking is on the right. Drive to the next available spot and reverse in. DO NOT DRIVE over the field to turn around. Chris will be available to help with parking and can be reached on 919-426-8969 leave a message if he doesn’t answer.

The area with the pond on the left is the best area to walk dogs. Please pick up after your dogs.
This trial has been has been made possible by the generosity of the farm owner. Please help us to keep the property clean so we can continue to have trials here. No driving on the hay field.

The 2023 Page Farms Stock Dog Trial is completed and what an undertaking it was. We had two open trials over three days and three days of lower classes. Congratulations to Linda Tesdahl and Mona on winning the overall Open Champion and congratulations to Cindy Good and Griffon on winning Reserve Open Champion. Thank you to all of our judges, Bob Allen our open judge, Connie Brannen, Cy Peterson and Chris Elliott our lower class judges, we really appreciate you. A huge thank you to Teri Rhodes and the NJ gang for your tireless effort in score keeping. Thank you so much to Josh Gibson, Rose Kane, Nichole Curry, Esther Gates, Dale Reiter, David Slotwiner, David Goyer and I’m sure I have missed a few, for your help in getting everything set up. And a huge thank you to everyone who pitched in to keep the trial running, setting, scribing and pen work,and was patient with us as we moved through some growing pains. We look forward to seeing everybody again next year.

We are at the end of day 2 and the trial is plugging along. Huge thank you to Cy Peterson who judged Nursery 3, Ranch 2, ProNovice 2 and Novice 2. And gratitude and thanks for all of our helpers today. You all went above and beyond and we really appreciate it. Congratulations to all the winners. Ranch and Pro Novice prizes will be awarded at tomorrows handlers meetings. Open 1 ran much quicker than anticipated and we only have about 15 runs left to go. Thank you to Bob Allen for judging and again big thanks to all of the helpers. We could not have this trial if it wasn’t for all the help and we are very grateful.
BBQ sandwiches are currently available at the table the scoreboards. Get them while they’re hot.

Open 1 Handlers meeting Saturday at 6:45am. The handlers post is at the opposite end of the field from Nursery. When walking up the field please stay as far to the right next to the crop field as possible.
Nursery 3 handlers meeting will follow the Open handlers meeting on the lower class field. Have a great evening and we’ll see you tomorrow.

Friday: Run order - Nursery 1(big field), Open Ranch, Pro Novice and Novice (small field), Nursery 2 (big field). Handlers meeting for Nursery 1 is 6:45am first dog 7am. Ranch, Pro novice, Novice meetings will be after the class before it.
Saturday: Open Handlers meeting 6:45am. First dog 7am.

Open runs take precedence over the lower class field. If there is a running conflict please see Kim Hicks asap.
There will be no food trucks this year. There are fast food places nearby in Ellabell, Blitchton and Pembroke.
We are getting closer to trial, looking forward to seeing everyone. We will be running two field’s Saturday and Sunday, a good distance from parking. Feel free to bring bicycles, atvs and golf carts. Also if you’re camping I need to get a head count so please drop me a message. Thanks.
