Mocha Evening December 30th 2024. We will be continuing with the subq fluids until she is drinking suffient amount of fluids on her own. She is eating on her own. One bout of vomiting and diarrhea her first night after starting treatment. We know her caregiver is going above and beyond providing the best care possible for Mochi. Her caregiver is also familiar with the sanitization process to prevent virus spread. We said no to euthanasia because we are no kill. We said no because we still saw life in her eyes. Thank you to the Earth Angels who believe in Miracles and supported our furbabies helping us save one life at a time.

These little nuggets arrived safely from Roblin to Winnipeg. Thank you to all involved. 8 lives were saved today including a feral cat that was brought into a different vet to be euthed no fault of his own.

Available for adoption. Meet Whiskers. Whiskers is approx 2yrs old. Whiskers is good with kids, dogs, but tends to be a bit bossy to other cats. Whiskers is searching for her forever home.

We have 18 needing to be spay/neutered. This was a 2025 project but seems the situation is dire and needs to be dealt with sooner than later.😔

We have started diamond paintings once again to help our cat colonies. These diamond paintings will be put up for sale with or without the frames. Frames will be extra. The proceeds will be used for vetting, food, supplies, or to recover vet care. We do have large wall size to do as well. Pawsforacause in no longer being used and had been separate rescues for some time. Name change was done last January however those associated never changed name of the Rescue or at the vet.

Just as every year people are already posting for Christmas😖 Just as every year I do not want Christmas wishes, I do not want gifts or any part of festivities. Christmas is not what it used to be. It's been commercialized and has lost its meaning. It's no longer traditional. As every year all I ask for is for the cats to have a home, a warm place to stay, food in their bellies. We can not accomplish this without support of Earth Angels. If you wish to donate please contact us directly. Our etransfer is [email protected]. Please include in memo as to what funds are for. We have no outstanding vet bills but we did not recover any funds from spay/neuters, vaxxes or treatments and can not move forward at this point to help others. We did a spay on a dog last week and another dog is scheduled in January and Big Grey's dental in November. Every year we ask for Christmas to be for the furbabies. If you wish to donate food or supplies we can make arrangements for pick up or drop off. We are urgently needing food for our cat colonies in the Southeast communities.

A Huge Thank you to BEST WEST on Portage Avenue for the food donation. Bacardi is eating and able to tolerate without getting the runs. THANK YOU to our Vets for tending to Bacardi. Crossing fingers that Bacardi is now on the road to recovery.

We have a new cleaning crew. They are on break.

Two of our furbabies have been reunited. They are sisters approximately 7 years old possibly older. The reunite went well. They will be staying with their foster and adopted as a bonded pair. They are dilute tortis looking for their forever home.
