Meet Quasi! He is a loved little boy now and is very grateful to Taylor Co SPCA for helping to rescue him!
You see, a while back, Quasimodo used to be called Chance. Chance was just a sweet pup that didn't get treated like he should have. Chance's humans didn't protect him and he was broken-literally broken! 😢 Even though Chance was hurt, mistreated, and permanently disabled from blunt force trauma he never lost his sweet personality and disposition. He NEVER stopped loving humans!
When Chance was placed into foster care, his fosters just couldn't let him keep that same name. They wanted him to have a fresh start and a new lease on life. After much thought and consideration, the name Quasimodo was chosen. It suited him..In the story, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Quasimodo had a growth over his eye, had a hunchback, and became deaf. Despite the adversities, he had a pure heart, was brave and was a true friend.
Quasi has accrued hefty vet bills. When he first came to Taylor Co SPCA he had a lengthy stay in vet care where he was treated for anemia, an infection, was neutered, and had extensive x-rays and blood tests to accurately treat the damage that had endured in his short 1 1/2 years.
It has since been determined that he would continue out his life with his foster. We couldn't be more honored to try to give this sweet baby his best life and we wanna share his quirky, sweet, and sometimes sassy personality with you! His ways aren't typical but we adjust to his needs so he can be our pet!
I share this with you so you can see the work Taylor Co SPCA does in the community. If you are looking for a fur baby check them out! Adopt don't shop! If you feel inclined to donate toward Quasi's vet costs or would like to sponsor another foster we have...please do! They are always needing donations of cat, dog, puppy, and kitten supplies. They also can use old sheets, towels, cleaning supplies, kitty litter, puppy pads...the list is literally endless. No donation is too small! Better yet, if you have time, space, and a love for animals...they can probably hook you up with a foster!
Check them out!
