Today was grooming day. All puppies got a good brushing and a treat. It’s something they’re all going to have to get used to with Schnauzer coats.

Our first puppy to leave the litter for his forever home was Banjo. He’s looking pretty happy after just one day. And his new name is Scout which he particularly suits.

No pics today but a funny incident. An ambulance with siren blasting drove past our place today. In response all the puppies started howling together in unison. And they kept it going for quite some time after it passed. Wish I'd had a chance to record the moment. It was priceless!

Pup of the day is Spot. She is the responsible elder sibling, quiet and strong, but a great snuggler. She came out first and was the largest. Only one sibling has overtaken her in size. Being top dog she takes it literally, always found at the top of a sibling huddle. She has found her forever home.
This is her first time inside having a poke around.

Pups of the day are Batgirl and Batman. So named as they looked like they were wearing bat masks when they were born. They could be twins and I frequently get them mixed up. Batgirl is courageous and confident. She's physically confident too and doesn't think twice about jumping off high places. Batman is very similar. They are looking for their perfect partners in crime and have yet to be sold. But given those sweet faces and their endearing affectionate natures I'm sure it won't be long.

Pup of the day is Banjo. He’s almost the smallest so sometimes he gets the moniker “runt” but not sure how he’d feel about that as he can stick up for himself in the rough and tumble of play. He’s beyond cute, and very sweet-natured and still looking for his forever home.

Roti is incredibly handsome and is the strong silent type. He’s very affectionate and loves nothing more than to have his tummy rubbed. He’s truly adorable and takes after his dad. He has also found his forever home. Still with us another 10 days until he turns 8 weeks.

Zorro is sold. She came inside for cuddles yesterday. She’s Miss Personality Plus. Very curious and playful. And sooo cute! If you’re wondering how a girl can be nicknamed Zorro it’s because she was born with a Zorro mask. She’ll look most like her mum when she’s grown.

Yesterday was vaccination day, their very first outing. There was some protest about being packed into boxes and bags. Zorro was by far the most vocal and kept breaking out the top!
