matter if they have a lot coat or a little, it’s really hot for our fur-friends. Please pay attention to signs of distress. And no dogs left in cars please. Lots of water. Wet their paws and fur. Be vigilant!

COVID-19 Update 3/28/2020

According to recent updates to essential services on the Monroe County and NYS websites, businesses operated by a single person are exempt from the non-essential business shut down. In addition, businesses that provide animal care were added to the essential business list. Based on this information, I am able to re-open Lucky Dog Grooming for business.
I am very happy to be able to get back to providing what I've always considered essential care to my K9 clients. At the same time, the precautions and measures connected to reducing the spread of COVID-19 remains my first priority. I am dedicated to protecting myself, my family and my clients' humans.
At this time I am unable to accept any new clients.
Current clients whose appointments were canceled due to the shutdown and clients who have upcoming appointments, please be patient. I am getting my protocols in order to ensure safety for all when I open again. I will email, call or text you as soon as I have information for you. If you are on my email list, please keep your eyes open for a message to explain specific operations as I return to grooming. Thank you for your patience and consideration.

Important COVID_19 Update for 3/20/2020

For the safety of all, Lucky Dog Grooming has made the difficult decision to temporarily close its doors. This decision is not something I take lightly, and I made it with the utmost concern for my family and all of my cherished clients and their families. I hope that you will all be able to find some light in this difficult time. Please stay home, enjoy your pets and your people and don't forget, WASH YOUR HANDS!

I will be monitoring our local, state and national governments' recommendations as we move through the next phase of COVID-19. It seems as though things change daily, and let us hope that we soon see a turn for the better. Without knowing how bad this will be, I just hope and pray that we all come together to help those who suffer loss and pain as best we can.

Once I become aware of when it is safe to resume business, I will begin to reach out to my clients who are affected by this shutdown. As many of you know, I am generally booked out for many weeks, so a 2 week break (if that is all it is) from taking scheduled clients will affect many more than just those whose appointments have been canceled for this shutdown, I ask for your patience when I do get around to trying to restart my schedule, as it will be chaotic and I am sure quite inconvenient for many. As much as possible, I promise to accommodate everybody in a timely fashion.

Greetings from Lucky Dog Grooming! Today I celebrate my 10 year anniversary of business! While I am extremely excited for this milestone, I turn my attention to the very serious matter facing us currently: The COVID-19 outbreak.

I am committed to continue to provide expert grooming care to your pets while making my best effort to decrease the risk of exposure to the illness for myself and my human clients.
For starters, I am following the CDC’s recommendations in addition to my already rigorous sanitation procedures in the grooming shop.

I ask that if you are sick, have been around somebody who is sick, if you have traveled recently, or if your pet does not desperately need grooming, please consider rescheduling your grooming appointment. Feel free to call 585-359-8858 or email me at [email protected] to discuss your appointment options.

I will keep scheduled appointments, but please understand that our circumstances are fluid and in light of changes happening daily, it is possible that I may have to close. If this happens I will reach out by phone and discuss the situation with each of you.

When attending appointments, these procedures will be applied until further notice:
-When you arrive for drop off or pick up, please call or text me from the driveway at 585-738-6592. Within 5 minutes I will come up and collect or deliver your pet. PLEASE HAVE YOUR PET SECURELY LEASHED OR IN A CARRY CONTAINER.

-All payment will be conducted through invoicing. An email is necessary to do so. If I do not have an email on record, I will ask you to supply one. Payment will be due on the day of service. If you are not able to pay with a credit card online, please notify me in advance and I will arrange alternate payment options.
