This is Pan and Loki. Also Jasper and Stormy, but we'll get to them. Around 6:45 this morning, we felt little feet scurrying up the bed. We were mostly asleep and are used to little feet on the bed, so thought nothing of it. Until... I shifted... and heard a little high-pitched bark. My eyes shot open just as Pan jumped over my head and landed on the night table! As you can imagine, we jumped up and started the "catch the glider" game. Loki is not as adventurous as his brother and was still downstairs. Pan was enjoying his jaunt around the house but finally returned to the cage. Stormy enjoyed the excitement, and Jasper helped by herding his little buddy back to safety. Cage door checks are now part of the nighttime routine. Lol

ETA: Just to clarify, Pan and Loki are perfectly fine. They didn't get hurt at all on their little adventure.

Happy Valentine's Day! If you don't do Valentine's Day, happy Wednesday! As you might have guessed, we've been busy here lately. I managed to get a fun little project done for myself (a test for the shop). It's intended to fit a Kindle, but I had to be extra and make it big enough for my tablet. You may see some "correctly" sized versions with new fabric in the shop soon, as well as some other fun makes! Meanwhile, Jasper and Stormy took Daddy on an outing to the old farm near our house. They had fun and are now taking a well-deserved nap!

Jasper is back to wearing his sweater outside. He likes the snow until he realizes how cold he is, and then wants to come back in. Stormy, however, turns into a crazy monster. He gets so excited, he scares Jasper. We're working on that with Jasper since Stormy just wants to play, but it's a challenge.

Jasper and Stormy heard something and forgot what they came out to do. Although I think Jasper just wanted to check things out since all he did was walk around, sniffing.

And if anyone was wondering if I use what I make, yes I do! This was my first dog walking bag, and I use it every day. I love having everything I need when I go out the door and the ability to have my hands free to hold leashes and give scratches.

They may be cute, but one is a drama pup and the other cried most of the time his brother was gone, getting checked out at the vet.

Last night, Mike tripped over Stormy. Stormy cried out and started limping, so he went to the vet this evening. After a full exam, he was diagnosed with milking it for all he's worth to make Daddy feel guilty. He's fine. Meanwhile, Jasper kept going to the door, crying for them to come home. These boys... 🤣

Jasper really wants to be a lap dog, but he still hasn't figured out how. So, Stormy jumped up to show him. Dogs are WAY too sweet!

Shop update: Due to circumstances beyond our control (we're fine, just frustrated), the shop will open on Monday. Hopefully. LOL But... we will ship the ready-to-ship items asap, so you should still get them in plenty of time. We will post the link and announce the opening as soon as it's ready!

We hope you all have a wonderful day today. We're thankful for such a great community who helped us through Jasper's initial and continuing recovery.

I'm not feeling well, so we had to cancel family plans. But... I'm thankful for a husband who gets up early to cover my dog walking shift and for living next door to one of my best friends who makes enough food for an army and offers to bring us plates with all the fixin's!

Stormy is feeling so much better that he's been teaching Jasper the happy p@ dance! Jasper is getting the hang of it, although he's not as wiggly as Stormy is. Watch Jasper's right hind leg at the end. 🤣

Happy weekend! That's how I was going to start a post for yesterday, and then our weekend went downhill. Friday, Stormy was acting off. Nothing glaring, just not energetic. Then, that evening, we noticed he was guarding his back. He wasn't in obvious pain, but he was definitely uncomfortable. Our vet is amazing and squeezed him into the schedule Saturday morning, where she agreed that he wasn't in immediate harm. I brought him home with some pain meds and plans to follow up on Monday. Shortly after we got home, I got stung by a wasp. I'm allergic, so that meant epipen, ambulance, and the rest of the day in the ER. We're all doing ok now, but I hope today is better!

Jasper took the opportunity this morning to make sure Stormy remembered his sniffing lessons. 😆

As much as we love having the dogs sleep with us, we decided to put the big bed back beside ours, to give everyone a little more space. The first pic is last night, and the second is this morning. I think it's a hit. We even told him he didn't have to stay there, but he did. I kinda missed not being able to move my legs. But, Stormy took full advantage and laid between us all night. 🤣

Jasper went to the vet today and was such a good boy! It was time for his annual checkup, vaccines, and tests. He protested while on the lift table, but his vet was able to do her thing so he can stay healthy. ❤️

I did not realize how long it's been since I posted. Whoops! Stormy got a hair cut today and the boys did not like being separated. Lol Now that we're all home, Jasper is teaching him to relax in the sun.

Jasper lost his little "sister" tonight. Ziggy (the brown one) is now with her sister, Stardust. We can almost hear Dusty popping and running around, excited to have her sister back, but we will miss them both, so much. Hail, the Traveler.
