**NOEL'S JOURNEY DOESN'T END YET**
Noel sat in a Ripley, TN shelter for 30 days and this is how she came out of that shelter after 30 days😡.
She had a severe abscess in her leg full of infection in a couple of places, she also had bed sores from being left on concrete too long without exercise or outside time, she was underweight from not being fed enough & was very heartworm+ with NO treatment.

**This is unacceptable and we will fight for change at this shelter for Noel and all the other dogs that have suffered or still suffering at the shelter**STAY TUNED!!!!!!

We created this page for a couple different reasons. 1.) Noel needs prayers, support & donations. 2.) Noel needs justice from the neglectful & horrific conditions that she and along with many other animals have experienced & are still experiencing in a Ripley, TN animal shelter. 3.) Bring education to animal abuse, how serious heartworms can be & making sure you get your dogs heartworm tested.**SEE SOMETHING SAY SOMETHING**

If you are a volunteer for a rescue/shelter and you witness animal neglect, it is YOUR responsibility to be the voice for these animals. Take them to the vet. Take pictures and show people how your shelter/rescue is treating them. Raise money for their care. Show your Mayor, city council and community how they are failing these animals. Day after day after day!!!!!!

Please be a voice for the voiceless. Be the change! Volunteer. Advocate. Network. Foster. Adopt. Donate. Petition.

**NOEL NEEDS PRAYERS, SHARES & ANY SMALL DONATION AMOUNT TO HELP HER**

Noel's story😭🙏
2 years old being rescued from a neglectful animal control shelter in Tennesee where she developed soars from sleeping on concrete and lack of food to a serious leg infection that was ignored. She was rescued by Meals on Wheels for Helena-West Helena Dogs and brought to Arkansas where her infection was treated but then was diagnosed with heartworms.😡 She was transported from Arkansas to CLAWA Rescue in Colorado. Where an amazing adopter took her in and only had one night before rushing her to the emergency vet that cost $2k simply for oxygen to stay alive. We were refered to a primary vet the next day, $300 later and she wasn't improving. From primary vet, she was rushed back to a different emergency vet where they did a echogram of her heart only to find the worms are to deep to extract. She is back on oxygen at the emergency vet and costing another $2k. She will need to be transferred back down to sea level, where she can breath without help from the oxygen tank and the heart worm treatment can begin. The rescue group Meals on wheels for Helena- West Helena Dogs have been paying for all this. They are non profit and have been taking out loans, credit cards, etc to cover these costs. She has a team of very dedicated and loving ladies doing everything they can to give Noel a fighting chance. Please share this donation post and help them raise as much as possible to recoup the cost and give Noel a chance at a beautiful life. No amount is to small. Noel needs to get back to sea level as soon as possible! She can't survive with the high altitude. Adopter is picking up Noel at 12 noon today and high tailing to lower ground and out of the high altitude where Going back to Meals on Wheels for Helena-West Helena Dogs in Arkansas where she will be can hopefully get treated for her aggressive heartworms. Deep prayers she makes the trip!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Noel went back to primary vet for not being able to sleep or get comfortable. She was in pain and still heavy breathing.😭. Primary vet suggested her concern about Noel developing pulmonary hypertension as a result of the heartworms, which can only be diagnosed via echocardiogram. Noel was then sent to a different emergency vet Evolution Veterinary Specialists, Inc. with a cardiologist to do the . She responds well to oxygen. Worms are in pulmonary artery. Too far for extraction. She needs 24 more hours of oxygen and meds she is on.

Noel went to her primary vet appointment for follow up All About Paws Veterinary Services 😔. She was kept for half a day for monitoring & sent home with meds for another follow up in days. Everybody fell in love with sweet Noel🤗💕🐾.

Not even 24 hours with her human, Sweet baby Noel was rushed to Veterinary Emergency Group in Denver. Her heartworms attacked aggressively from altitude change and she had trouble breathing . She had to stay on oxygen to remain alive. She was kept overnight to monitor her breathing and was referred to a primary vet for follow up.
