What all goes into boarding and the price?

Be it board and train or a regular boarding there a lot that goes into it! And this all will reflect on the price!

Daily exercise - making sure you dog us receiving ample amount of excersize. When dogs stay with me, this includes but isn't limited to: walks (multiple a day), play sessions, park times, hikes, biking, etc.

Cleaning dogs are messy. Be it hair, laundry, or dirt! After each and every boarding client goes home, I do a deep clean. This means that EVERYTHING down in disinfectant, even if I don't think a dog touches it.... it will be wiped down. Vacuum and steam mopping of the floors. Disinfection my yard, and cleaning up poo after to keep all pets and people safe from disease and viruses! Laundry itself takes a lot of time, too, and that's only to mention some of the cleaning

Personal - The boarding I offer is personal!! Your dog gets personal 1 on 1 time with me throughout the day. My keenel itself is made to keep your dog separate from mine to reduce stress and anxiety and perfect for my reactive dog owners who would rather their dogs stay separate!

Structure - I offer structure when a normal boarding facility does not! I male sure dogs aren't too tired and grumpy, and I make sure to keep up on past training and rules you already have in place! I stick as much as I can to your routine!

5.50 mile bike ride today, and Lucifer LOVED IT!!
We need a different harness for lucifer. I took it off right after this clip since it was causing discomfort. If you have a harness you recommend, let me know! I like him to have it, so in an emergency, I can grab it if I need to. So I'd like one with a handle but not restrict his movement if you're a brand that can solve this problem and want to colab message me! I've tried so many with no success!

Sorry for the terrible view in this video, but we are working on not backing away from the dremmel when doing nails. This is a slow process we do every few days. In the end, he was staying there while I did the back feet, focusing on his reward (his kibble he loves). This has him something to look forward to and work for. He didn't try to put away at all for the back feet like he used to, so it's definitely working. Carver is really bad with his paws being touched ilk have videos out soon on that. Been thinking of making a #patreon to show things like this for people at home but better video quality 😅 this one is bad and I apologize 😂 (also yes his nails are too long for my liking he had the longest ones put of all my dogs that's why we are training and doing this every fee days so it's not overwhelming

What is Socalization?
It's so much more than just playing with other dogs!! It's being neutral in all different types of environments, it bleaching that people are not scary, to be neutral with people and dogs, and so much more!!

We have been working with Carver on not barking at people. So he only barks when people are far away. He can walk right past people, no barking g or pulling, but at a distance, he sees movement and instinctively barks. Now, obviously, this is un desirable, so we have been taking him put in public and working on neutrality and not barking.

I also discussed an unfair correction made by my husband. My husband is still learning and now understands why the correction was unfair. Remember, you're not perfect, and there's always room for learning and growth!! The reason why my husband's correction was unfair is many reasons. But to name a few, Carver didn't know what that leash correction could have meant. It was too hard, and it only added pressure to a situation where Carver was expressing himself and felt unsure. Instead, we want Carver to see these things look at them, observe, not bark. And then look to us. Eventually, we want. He basically barely notices and keeps his focus on us!

Some before (2 weeks ago) and today! Pur work is FAR from over. we still have a lot of reactivity to work through, but even being in a place with no distraction, Kash used to pull so hard. So we are slowly building up to more distraction, and his owners have lots of hard work ahead of them, but look at them go!! Kash's owners are speechless they have never been able to walk him, and I mean literally speechless, and this is why I do this work. I love seeing the owners' faces!! 💕 let's go, kash!!

My morning routine with Mt BNT starts with bathroom breaks, dog food, and coffee. Then we go out and work on basics in the garage and backyard, then start the afternoon with a mid day outing to continue to sharpen peanuts skills before go home time!

Today was peanuts' first day boarding with me, he struggles with confidence, leash pulling, not liking to sit when asked, slight reactivity, jumping, and counter surfing.
The first clip is me not asking anything from peanut. He's pulling and not aware of me, so we started simply just working on some engagement from him. Tomorrow, we are going to start to tackle some of this fear he has and work on some more engagement as he is learning to trust me!

His down wasn't all to good in this video but thats okay he's not perfect he's not a robot he did good and this was the end of our hour play/training so he's a bit tired.

Does your dog have door manners? I practice this daily with Miss Rocky. Door manners save lives! This is a boundary non of my dogs are allowed to cross unless told otherwise! In this session, I waited to capture the sit and only cracked the door at first to not over stimulate and set her up for success if she got up it's okay I close the door and we would restart till I could open the door fully then call her through!
This is Rocket, a stray I found over a month ago. I looked for her family with no luck. Not chipped in heat and running the streets. She's a love girl, and since it's over her 30 days and now is legally mine, I'm training her up for her new foreclosure family that will be adopting her in September! She only knew sit when I got her, so I'll be walking you through how I'll be teaching her and what she will be learning! She's leash reactive. Pulls in the leash and a few other things she is dog friendly for the most part is isn't a huge fan of one of my females but only her she's great with the other dogs but the feeling is mutual but that's okay they don't have to be friends if they don't want to! I can't wait to show you how she improves!
