Postmodern art is just another form of cultural pyramid scheme: the only reason it works is because people pretend it does, just like the old fable of the Emperor's New Clothes. The outvert reliance on authorial intent has completely crushed the ability of artists to create works that actually say something important about us, as always only for the benefit of the upper classes. Always speak your mind, especially if you feel like the world is against you
