Let’s explore how to use essential oils Topically with your pets.
🐾 Massage: Use circular motions and very gentle pressure after applying an oil to your hands. Go slow and use your fingers to part the hair as you go to get the oil down to the skin.
🐾 Ear Tipping: Apply diluted essential oil to the tips of your pet’s ears, by gently rubbing them. Suspicious kitty? Apply during dinner time or when giving a yummy treat to distract them. 😉
🐾 Reflexology points: Between the paw pads on each of the paws. No need to get to specific on the location at this point, just know it will help! *Pro Tip* - if your pet does NOT like having their paws touched, don't use this method. Use one of the other methods instead.
🐾Direct application: Pet along their back | spinal area and over the hips - after applying the oil to your hands first.
