Happy 3rd Birthday to our "Bacon Bits" litter! I don't know where the time has gone, but watching these puppies grow up is a joy. I am so proud of them all and excited for their futures as they are just getting started!! This litter produced such consistent puppies in look and temperament and they are all excelling in a variety of venues as they continue to grow up. Thank you to all our wonderful owners who trusted me as a first-time breeder and to Kori Bevis for allowing me to use Baker! These baby dogs are everything I'd hoped they'd be and I am so excited to see all these great teams keep evolving!

Rifka Retrievers had a great showing at the 2022 GRCA! Fahren and Revel (Fahren’s 20 month old son) both completed the requirements to earn the Triathlon Award by competing and earning a qualifying score/pass in a field event, performance event, and conformation event!

Super proud of this team, they are just getting started and today they finished up both of their Novice AKC Agility titles with two beautiful first place runs! Rev got to celebrate with a trip to the beach afterward!

Rev is out of our Baker x Fahren litter, hard to believe these pups are 18 months old now, time flies.

Rev is owned by Kala Sizemore and myself and handled by Kala! Super excited for their future!

I am so proud of my little red dog, she always gives me 110% no matter what and this week at our 2021 GRCA National Specialty in Ocala FL she didn’t disappoint!

🥇WINNER of 20” Master Standard
🥇 WINNER of 20” Master FAST
🥈 SECOND in 20” Time To Beat
🥈 SECOND in 20” Premier Standard
🏅FOURTH in Rally Advanced & New Title!

She also picked up a Triple Q and earned her TQX title and a Double Q in Premier at the pre-trial the day before the National!

The “Bacon Bits” are turning 8 months old in a couple days! It’s so fun watching them grow up and I love that they are growing up close to mom or dad too! These guys are all so much fun and are working hard for big futures!

3 boys and 2 girls born yesterday morning! Fahren was amazing and is being a great mom and very proud!

Without further ado, meet the bacon bits!

💛 Ham - Yellow Boy, first one into this world, he loves to eat and loves to hear himself talk! His name isn’t quite bacon related but it’s from the same animal and was a request from our Repro vet since they were arriving around Thanksgiving (or so we thought!)

💚 Rashers - Green boy! Named after Ireland’s bacon! The smallest of the boys but he can hold his own at the milk bar!

🧡 Gypsy - Orange Girl, named after Hungarian bacon! She is tiny and loves to cuddle with her Momma.

💖 Pancetta - Pink Girl, named after Italian bacon! She had a rough start but is a fighter and getting stronger by the minute!

💙 Speck - Blue Boy, named after Germany’s take on Bacon. The biggest of all and he’s held that title after weigh in day today!

Thank you to Kori Bevis for allowing me the opportunity to use Baker and for going above and beyond to make sure everything worked out in the middle of a pandemic!

These two were busy being awesome this weekend and sure look great with their ribbons!

Fahren earned QQ #12 with two First Place runs and “baby daddy” to be, Baker, attended his first Senior Hunter test with owner Kori and he passed with flying colors!!

I can’t wait to see the little superstars these two make 🐾😍🐾 (no really, I can’t wait, let’s get a move on Fahren!!)

Today Fahren completed the requirements for her Agility Dog Hall of Fame (ADHF) title through the Golden Retriever Club of America.

She celebrated with a dip in the pool and a taco!

Golden Retriever Puppy Demand

The demand for Golden Retriever puppies is very high at this time and we have received many inquiries about breeders and availability nationwide. Unfortunately with the COVID-19 pandemic, there are less puppies available due to less litters being produced. Many breeders are overwhelmed by the exceptionally high demand and may not respond to all inquiries and many have waiting lists. Please be patient as our breeders are responsible to our Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA) standard of ethics to produce healthy, quality puppies. We understand your frustration and we have a few ideas for you.

1. Try to contact a local Golden Retriever Club that may be able to give you Breeder Referrals. You can do an internet search on “Golden Retriever Clubs” near me.
2. If you already have a breeder(s) contact(s), try emailing them for a puppy questionnaire to complete.
3. Ask to be put on a waiting list for first available puppy.
4. Search for your breeder(s) contacts(s) on FB and private message them about yourself and your family. Breeders want to know about you!
5. Most importantly, do your homework on breeders; only purchase through a reputable breeder. Ask questions, if possible visit the kennel or home and request heart, hips, elbows and eye clearance documentation on both sire and dam (parents of puppies).
