Breakfast for champs 🥹 these little ones melt my heart...
Little Dotty, who is the tiniest little one is really coming out of her shell. She was the biggest concern upon arrival, she still is but seeing her thrive and is actually being one of the first into the food 🥣 now.... 😅🤗💛
Update on our The Liver Gulls - Liverpool Seagull Rescue & Rehabilitation little gang... Through a slight delay getting the enclosure finished (with the wrong mesh being delivered) they spent the first night in their new shed last night.
Today, Everybody has had a swim, discovered the hidey holes stuffed with shavings & straw to dry off and keep warm. We've totally packed their dry/weatherproofed area with soft shavings to keep their little feet as dry as possible, as unfortunately several little ones have bumblefoot.
Since taking this video more of their space has been altered and a tonne of bark is on its way for mud control. They are currently tucked away for the night until the predator proofing is 100% complete. Our main goal is to ensure they thrive as much as possible with the view of release as and when they are ready to fly the nest. We've several more months ahead of us for the majority, potentially another year to ensure their feather condition is tip top...
If you're unfamiliar with their story, or would like to help us help them on their journey please take a moment to read https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=700038595562046&id=100066677360985

Just because it's been a while since Pablo has graced you with his splendid presence... Also featuring boss babe, JenJen trying to get a little groom on the go bless her, Pabs was just being far too regal to notice 🙈
It's never a quiet day at Pablo's Place, but today was quite the exception. A lovely local who was extremely concerned about an exhausted badger who'd found themselves stuck in her garden reached out for help. Luckily a couple of our animal rescue friends managed to get there quickly to rescue her and took her to the amazing wildlife friendly vet Medivet (HESWALL) Fortunately her injuries are superficial, mostly her claws from trying to get out of the garden, with the vetanarty advice, she just needs a few days to rest and recoup her energy and for us to monitor her wounds for any signs of infection. Massive thank you to the ones who went out to rescue her.
She's currently sleeping in a soft bed of straw here with us and being monitored on camera so not to disturb or distress her more than necessary... Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be an all you can eat buffet until she's ready for release 🦡
Good soup! But don’t watch me 🙈
I think we’ve got some happy bunnies and piggies 💛 our absolute core value is giving the best we can to each and every single animal that comes through the door. With a whole bunch of determination, imagination, lot of hours, lots of pallets, thousands of staples, hidden mesh and 100’s of screws later the housing and run is finished! The rabbits and guinea pigs have their own levels to explore and their own separate sleeping quarters for when the weather isn’t too great for them to be outside in their garden. We are constantly looking at ways to improve every animal’s accommodation and strive to do it as thrifty as possible using as much reclaimed and donated materials as we can. Their quality of life is the most important. If you like to help us help them by donating materials for housing or donating towards their food, medicine & vet bills I’ll add the PayPal link below 💛 https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=T56UQYA8N9HV4 💛
Jenjen after her special breakfast this morning 🥰 I think she approves 💛 this girl truly melts my heart
Such mischief 🙊 the majority of these little ones will be released back into the wild next week after such intense rehabilitation at Penny's Place Corvid Sanctuary it’s been such a joy to have these little ones and watching then thrive 💛 …. As much as we’ll all miss them, this is the reason we do what we do, to give them the second chance.
These two little piggies came to us last weekend, they are senior guinea pigs, just very tiny 💛 thank you to TTAR - Team Tino Animal Rights for donating lots of toys that have been distributed between all the animals the Guinea pigs especially love the tunnels 💚
I can already tell that these two are going to be inseparable ☯️
Yenn has never met another chicken in her life, and Penny is very particular on who she spends her time with. They have both just been purring away taking a bath next to each other then ended up snuggled together 😭🥰❤️
Having breakfast with some of the ladies, watch until the end to meet JenJen ❤🥺❤
#funfacts Ducks will wag their tails just like dogs when they feel happy or excited 🥰🤩
Jumping dinos 🐥🌽🌿#itscorn #corn
Throwback to the day Pablo met his lady friends, attentively nest building and been foraging for them ever since 🥰❤️ the reputation and mistreatment cockerels have been put through is absolutely heartbreaking. They can be the sweetest of nature, the most doting partners… they won’t eat until the rest of the flock are full, they will continue to forage throughout the day and alert the girls of some tasty treats when they find some, on high alert at all times putting themselves on the front line to protect their flock no matter the consequence 🐔❤️
